~The Path Towards Dawn~

~14 Months Ago~

Lulu Stellis slammed open her room in her Master’s Castle. She ran in grabbing everything she could as she wiped her tears away. She wouldn’t come back anymore……everything has changed…..all thanks to them. Lulu stuffed everything in a grey sack. She grabbed her golden pocket watch, stared at it and slowly kissed the lid. It was all she had left of her dear sister……the one THEY KILLED. They ‘The Keys’…….and to think she wanted to be one of them……no she failed and she was glad.

 

“Lulu.” The teen turned around to see her Master in the doorway. He looked at the red eyed teen and softened his eyes, “Your leaving aren’t you?”

 

Lulu simply turned around her piece of hair that hung over her forehead blocking her tear-swelled eyes. She put the pocket watch in the sack, “You knew didn’t you…..”

 

Her Master sighed, “Yes I did….”

 

“Why didn’t you tell me…..”

 

“Cause then…..your heart would have been swelled by darkness.”

 

“Like hell it ain’t right now!” She yelled at her Master the first time ever. She grabbed the sack and walked past her Master, “Master Koshi, arigato.”

 

With that the girl left full of hatred, revenge, and worst of all darkness.

 

~Today~

Lulu walked around LightShine City. The busy crowd of people walking around the square as the large flat screen TV’s showed daily advertisement. Lulu walked to the golden statue that was near the square. The golden satue of the Biggest Hero. Sora. The Hero wielding the Keyblade. He use to be in charge of the City till one day he disappeared. Ever since then the group known as ‘The Key’s’ formed while Sora’s friends, Master Riku and Lady Kairi, Master Ventus, and Master Aqua look for him. Now the Key’s rule the City…..

 

Lulu grabbed her cam recorder and started recording the bright statue smiling at her. Lulu smiled back till a loud beep came.

Everyone in the square turned around to look at the flat screen TV’s. A person wearing a golden jacket appeared, “Hello everyone, this is the fellow Key’s. We would just like to say that because of a new law, your daily produce will be reduced in price. This should make a better living. Remember we The Key’s are here to make you the citizen happy. A world full of light is the best.”

 

“Yeah right, all your doing is tricking them.” Lulu scoffed under her breath for no one to hear.

 

She started to walk away. It’s not right. What their doing….but how am I to stop them. She walked towards the LightShine bank.

 

She had to go make a deposit for her small apartment her old Master provided her. If only a sign of how could happen…..

Wait a minute. So Xehanort's incarnations are still going on? I thought Sora and Master Riku defeated him.

"Falling isn't exactly the word in mind. I don't think anything will describe what i'm going to do well at least here that is." A sly smile edged further on his lips as he looked toward Lulu. "Play the game well then you'll get something. Otherwise have fun i'd be a great help with the Heartless that are stalking all of you. Oh piece of advice don't run. You'll just give them a better reason to go after you." He pointed just a little ways behind Lulu as five Neoshadows emerged. "I'll see you every soon Lulu." Giving a two fingered farewell he stepped into a Dark Corridor as it remained open.

I stood there confused and I could hear the rest of the thought in Lulu's mind....I quickly went back to healing Nara. He could be on the verge to death because of me....I'm so useless..........

~Lulu's POV~

Ug....my head hurts. I don't know why but for a minute there.....it felt like I has two people in my brain. Me and someone else.....

Anyways the Xehanort left. What did he mean by game? I look back at everyone else, "Hey! Are you all ok?"

 

~At Key's Castle~

 

"Violet I'm leaving you to go after them,"

The shoulder length purple hair teen bowed down, "Yes mu lord."

The girl got up and began to walk out the door holding a bottle full of a deep blue liquid in her hand.....

Yea I'm fine. Can we just get out of here? I'm hungry. Very hungry. And I get grumpy when I'm hungry.

"Yeah......" I wrote, now that she mentioned it my body was feeling weak. I haven't used my power in a long time and using Wings to Heaven has weakened me. I knew I was going to past out soon but it was enough time to heal Nara's heart, and soon enough my eye lids closed and I felt the floor hitting my side.........

Zero! Guys come quick! Zero collapsed! We need to help him! Come on Joe! You get his left, I get his right! We're going to Destiny Islands! It's where my Master lives! Come on! We use the corridor of darkness to go to Destiny Islands. Master Riku, do you know wha to do? He sits there saying he can't feel his heart. What about the Dive To the Heart Station? I say. I'll go if it's what it takes, in our froup there's no man left behind! We stick together trough the end, no matter what! I summon my key blade and aim it at Zero. I then disappear diving to a floor

"Zero!" Lulu tried to lift him up, but he was too heavy for her. "Ug...can one of you lift him. "Well'll stop by my house and eat real quick."

 

"Wait! " She tried to reach out for the guy but he left. She frowned, "My house let's go!"

I sensed a faint 'I can't sense his heart.' which made me worry not about myself but what they would think of...............................I don't have a heart............

Claire hadn't taken more than two steps into her office when she was pulled aside, feeling something wrap around her body. It pressed up against her face, almost smothering her before she pushed it off. The man staggered back, catching the fedora before it fell off of his head. His scarf settled across his shoulders, draping down his black dress suit. "Damn, babe. That's how you welcome me after all these years?" He sputtered a laugh, his crooked grin flashing in both her eyes and her memory.

 

"Get out of my office, Lucian." Claire walked past him, the man feigning a knife to his heart. He staggered back a few steps, taking in a sharp breath.

 

"Oh, mon amour, you would throw me out so quickly?" He picked a book off of one of the bookshelves, fliping through it before snapping it shut. "You've been a busy little bee, haven't you?"

 

"I've been occupying myself." Claire stated flatly as she took her seat behind the mahogany desk. She propped her feet up on the desk, steepling her fingers over her chest.

 

"Occupying yourself?" Lucian laughed again. "The Black Rose is reduced to pushing papers. Hardly becoming of the Third Key." He tossed the book onto her desk, the tome sliding across the surface to a stop in front of her. "Is this really the life you've resigned yourself to?"

 

"I find it fills the void that leaving The Keys left in my life." Claire moved the book tot he side with the toe of her boot, staring straight at Lucian. "What are you avoiding? I doubt you came here for small talk." Lucian smiled again, but she was immune to his Charm.

 

"Beau, if only things were that simple." He sat on the edge of the desk, placing his hat before him. His silver hair flowed down, almost touching his shoulders. "I saw that you killed Bonnie."

 

"Is that a problem?" There was no hostility in either of their voices. They were past things like that years ago.

 

"No. Actualy, everyone thanks you for it." He picked the fedora up, flipping it in his hands. "If ou didn't do it, I probably would've." He flipped th ehat one more time before replacing it on his head. "But the big man's got his eye on you. That dragon you summoned was pretty impressive. I see the rose hasn't lost her thorns yet." His smile turned quirky, magic lighting up in his eyes. "And I'm glad to see the petals haven't wilted, either."

 

"I have to warn you," Claire pulled her legs under her desk, leaning forward. "If you touch, you'll still get pricked." Lucien stood, laughing.

 

"I miss this, Claire. It's really been too long. And unfortunately, my time here's up. Just remember..." He pointed to both of his eyes before turning his fingers to her, the man vanishing in a plume of flames after the gesture. Claire scoffed, turning her attention tot he computer at the edge of her desk. It's not like she hadn't expected them to be watching after what had happened, but she certainly wasn't expecting that. Not again.

So they headed to Lulu's house.....well more like apartment. A small place her Master provided her with neighbors that looked after her. I wounder how their doing? I hope their ok..... Lulu opened the door. and as she suspected.....they were here but left once they realized she wasn't here thanks to all the dirt on the floor. Those bastards.....couldn't they at least clean up when their done? She sighed and headed to her frige, "Lay him on the couch." She told the others as she dug through her fridge. Black Olives, Black Olives, Black Olives, Pepsi, Black Olives...... Chicken! I'll just fry them some chicken! Wait.....but I suck at frying meat...... "Hey can one of you cook this. I need to use the bathroom." She laid the plate of chicken down then closed her fridge. She then headed towards the restroom.

Plus I need something.....

"Yeah i'm from the country i can fry chicken great, the names Joe by the way"I said to lulu as she headed to the bathroom.

"Ok." Lulu yelled back. Hn, so that's his name. After she entered the bathroom she walked over to a wall and knocked four times. In 10 secs the wall raveled a secret door that opened. There was a secret attic in her bathroom. Lulu walked in and turned on the dim lights to revel a dusty room filled with boxes. "It's been years since I've been here." She sighed then walked over to a cardboard box. She opened the box and grabbed the note.

Dear Lulu,

Lulu giggled at the letter and looked down I never thought I would have to use these....but I need something strong... She grabbed inside and pulled out a belt that held two throwing daggers. The daggers had a heart shape in carved on their metal. Lulu strapped on the belt then reached in for the other thing. A pair of knee high high-tops. She put them on. Yes they looked like any average high-top but.... Lulu stood up and tapped the end of her heel on the ground 2 times. Metal spikes suddenly came out. Lulu smiled then tapped her heel 2 times again making them go away. Perfect.....

"Xehanort you jerk. Quit leaving me behind i'm really starting to get sick of it. So i'm guessing you tagged Lulu already?" She stood with her arms folded in front of him. Her keyblade in sight as she occasionally looked in other directions for enemies. "I hope you know what you're doing Xehanort. Almost always someting bad happens that messes up something."

He smirked before giving her a softer smile. "Relax Rhythm. One of the Heartless put a tag on the heel of her boot while I was messing with her. It's made to blend in with it so it shouldn't be noticable. Now all we have to do is keep up with them and you get to tag one of the others one soon." He looked toward some of the windows with the same smile on his face. "Where just a house or two away. Hopefully no one will notice my darkness anytime soon. Better yet it be one of them."

I felt very weak the 'old wounds' must of paralyzed me and my powers take a toll on the body....so I never used them often until today. I walked through my mind until I found him,

"Hey dad."

 

"Hello son I see that you used your inherited powers."

 

"Yeah it's been years since anyone saw them......"

 

"I think you dear friend is worried about you."

 

"I wished she didn't worry all the time....."

 

"But remember she was the only one you could trust."

 

I looked down trying not to remember, "Sorry I don't want to talk about it any further dad."

 

"Don't forget you are very dear to me as well, your mother misses you very much. You should see her."

 

"I thought she's busy fighting demons."

 

"Silly Zero you are her child, even if she was fighting the lord of evil in Nippon she would come just to see you. Now wake up you don't want them to take you to the hospital right?"

 

"Yeah it would be bad to explain all of the wounds I got.....bye Death." I said waving back.....

 

 

I woke up on a couch, I sat up and my side started hurting. I smelled chicken cooking and with the scent of the room I could tell we went to Lulu's house......

~At Key's Castle ~

"OW!" Lola wined falling to the ground.

"What is it now?" One of the member's asked the girl annoyed.

"Some piece of darkness.....is on my twin. It hurts...." She began to roll on the ground.

"Oh please, I've seen you in worse."

"Fine...." But who ever put that darkness on Lulu is going to pay....I'm the only darkness Lulu has!

~Meanwhile~

Lulu closed the attic and went out of the bathroom. She then walked back to the fridge and dug through to grab a bowl of black olives. "So.....when will the chicken be done? Or when do you think Zero will wake up?"

I saw Lulu walk back and I looked around WHERE'S MY SKETCH BOOK!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I looked around and saw on sight of it, I sighed and put my hands in a 'holding a beach ball' position and out came a new sketch book.

"chickens done." Joe shouted so ever one could hear him. "Hey lulu were are the plates?'' He asked

I was weak but I got up limping toward him and pointed to a cabinet near the sink....

Mean while somewhere else, Nara awoke confused, where am i? and why is this place so dark, Nara said to himself as he stood up of the ground. Nara put his hand over his heart and noticed that the hurt he felt was missing, like it had been healed somehow. Nara found a broken mirror on a wall and looked at himself and with a shock, his his left eye was yellow and he had strange blue markings on his face but not on the right side of his face.

 

Nara looked at his body asking where did my wounds go?, never mind i have to find that girl who looked so much like Cristallum, but just then a member of the KEYS appeared. Nara stood ready to fight but the member didn't try to attack and the member removed her hood to reveal her face it was Lola, "who are you?" Nara said, "i'am Lola and i know who it was who took your memories". Nara said with anger "who is it?", Lola smiled with a plan in her head.

while Joe wasn't the best at setting tables he thought he should be a gentleman to impress lulu. "so zero you felling ok or you want to lay back down?" he asked

"I think I'll just go home now, I don't want to disturb you to if I even have a chance but I think I'll get worse if I do......" I wrote slowly with my left hand so it was bad hand writing, I was clutching my side with my right hand.....

~At Key's Castle ~

Lola stared at the unwanted guest.I sense darkness in him and a lot of it......He must be the one trying to hurt my dear twin~ Of coruse she would of killed him there, but why not play with her food? She looked at him with her purple eyes, she had the same hair style, well body as Lulu so one of her eye's was half covered. "Have you ever herd of the Lockie?"

Hehe

~Meanwhile~

Lulu sat down as she munched on her olives, "Yeah don't scare me like that again." Lulu then ate her chicken, "Thanks Joe." She then saw Zero's sketch pad and slapped his shoulder, "No you can't leave! You r sick you baka!" Realizing what she said she softened her eyes, "Sorry.....I didn't mean t-"

 

Suddenly she started coughing. She put her hand in front of her mouth and coughed up.....Blood. That's when she began coughing more and more making it hard to breathe...

 

I'm..... poisoned?

I saw that Lulu was worried about me....."It's ok I've been through worse." After I wrote that Lulu coughed up blood, and she was munching the black olives!!! They were poisoned!!! Even in my weak condition I got out Wings to Heaven and started healing her using a lot of my energy so it would be fast so in about 2 minutes Lulu was dis-poisoned and back to normal. As for me.....I fainted again......

"Thank-" She started to cough again. I know only one person who has that kind of poison that will never heal..... AM

BAM!

The front door flew open revealing a gold coat. The person walked in, "Well I see it worked...oh and I guess the other kid got fainted too." The person removed her hood to reveal a girl with dark violet hair what fell all the way to her thighs.
