Posted August 15, 201213 yr who else thinks that if the kingdom hearts franchise sold their merchandise in retail stores they would make a whole lot more bank. i personally would be buying all the action figures and who wouldnt want their own life size keyblade. i know they sell these things already but you can only get them online but It would be way more convienent to buy these items in stores like wal-mart. who else thinks so?
August 15, 201213 yr lots of places sell kh merchandise. but i would definetly buy the life sized keyblade!! :DD
August 15, 201213 yr Nawwww If everyone had their own keyblades easy peasy, there would be keyblade wars going on in the streets! Thats why ya gotta make one
August 15, 201213 yr Nobody would buy it. KH isn't really that popular I really hate that. KH deserves more love, but instead most of the gaming industry is focused on FPS and stuff that is pretty repetitive for each game. KH is a unique game. Maybe when KH3 finally comes out so many people will be talking about it so popularity will likely increase. But KH wont ever be as popular as CoD, hate that crap.
August 16, 201213 yr I wish they would sell KH merchandise at stores like Wal-Mart. It's unfair that KH stuff (other than games) is only sold in specialty stores, and usually at a high price.

A LOT of stuff outsells KH. KH barely breaks the million mark nowadays, only KH1 and 2 could really say that they sold REALLY well (Five million for KH1, 4 for KH2) Can you honestly say it's all worse? I wish they would sell KH merchandise at stores like Wal-Mart. It's unfair that KH stuff (other than games) is only sold in specialty stores, and usually at a high price. It's at a high price because there's no demand for it. Want it to be cheaper? Then drive up sales, if you work hard at it, you COULD get t in stores and drive down the price.

I just picked CoD because it's pretty much the biggest game today, and I wish KH was as big as it. I hate how lots of comapnies are focusing on FPS games, which is why I like Nintendo and a few games from Square. They have original games that catch my attention instead of the same shit with tweaks here and there. Did you honestly want me to list all the games that outsell KH? Why would I pick Mario when I could pick CoD? CoD outsells Mario, and that baffles me

It has constant content being released. there is no stigma attached to playing it unlike KH, or Mario, or any other 'kiddy' game. It works in a world people are already invested in. The plot is completely ignorable. You don't need to buy other games in the series to 'get' it. It has tonnes of advertising backing it, along with a bunch of sponsors. It's culturally more relevant to north America, as well, where guns have been romanticized. It's also a multiplayer focused game, which causes other players to bring in new ones (I theorize this is why anybody has an Xbox)

August 16, 201213 yr Kingdom Heart could make a lot of money if the sold final mixes world wide go figure.
August 16, 201213 yr Assisstant: "Sir there's a new RPG coming out of Japan with a completely original story and a franchise mash-up that's never been seen before." CEO: "What? Original story? Franchise mash up? WE MUST OVERREACT IMMEDIATELY! I want every gaming review company out there printing 'New JRPG offers more of the same.' Make it happen!" Assistant: "But Sir, why? CEO *Back-hands Assistant* "Are you questioning my authority boy?" Assistant: "N-No sir but...." CEO: "IDIOT! If we allow the public to form their own opinion about this then... *nervous sweat* then they'll start expecting more from us." Assistasnt: "Sir? Why is that a bad thing?" CEO: "Because then, *gulps* we'll actually have to start thinking when making games." Assistant: "Dear God." Edited August 16, 201213 yr by Sora_Kuno
