So, do to a save file overwriting accident, I've been replaying DreamDrop over again. Most of the cutscenes I've been skipping, except for ones I found truly important to the plot. I'm in The Grid at the moment playing through Sora's story and I just got to the point where I'm about to fight Rinzler. The dialogue for the beginning of the cutscene got to me;

 

"Combatant 13 versus Rinzler."

 

When you take into mind that YMX and the new Org 13 were basically controlling Sora through his dreams to make him the 13th member of the true Org, I find this more than coincidental, and kind of neat.

 

Does anyone else know of any little hints and foreshadowing through the game? I know I should prolly just watch ALL the cutscenes....but I really don't want to. Some worlds (I'm looking at you Cites des Cloches) are just so boring.

yeah I noticed that too :0 I gotta look through the theater mode to see if there are any more hints.

I noticed that the first time, I knew the number 13 was significant because of the organization, but I didn't make the connection that maybe he called Sora combatant 13 because Sora is supposedly the 13th vessel ;P

When I first saw that I thought of Roxas being number 13... which is kind of the same concept. Probably meant to be a very unnoticeable foreshadowing.

I did notice that my 2nd run through but I'd probably have to go back and really look to find other things. Feel like I've been too focused on having a challenge / being a completionist to have a good focus on the story and what is to come.

It's accidental foreshadowing. In an interview Nomura said he didn't realize the significance of Sora being combatant 13 until after the scene was written.

My favorite forshadowing is the back of Riku's shirt. It is on screne literally 50% of the game, but you never know that it means something. Then it does mean something!!!

Are there any other cases of foreshadowing, besides Riku's shirt? which I seriously didn't get until it was pointed out.

The fact Isa and Braig weren't at Radent Garden hinted that thet had some important role to play later on.
