I thought this was just to see the potential of this game engine and show off what it can do i saw this a while back. does it even say FFXV anywhere in it?

This video is from square enix, they made it public themselves and asked IF PEOPLE like this game theme and character in the next final fantasy game, so if people like it this will be FF15 Theme/character officially if not they will try something else because they are not sure if people will like it since it's quite different than the usual FF settings/main character , it's also confirmed for next generation aka "PS4" just a common sense guess, also another reason is that people got angry for not releasing versus 13 still, so in order to avoid future angry fans by announcing FF15 so early before it's ready for release they called Next Gen it Final Fantasy Tech Demo, Info is taken from the Famous Japanese Magazine Famitsu

Naw, that's just HasanAlHajry making assumptions and stating them as fact. There is nothing that has actually stated this will be XV. It's a shame, he makes decent videos, but they're loaded with attention grabbing stuff (Have you SEEN the tags on some of his stuff?)

For example, he acts like the PS4 is confirmed by this being for the 'next generation' but the REASON it is for the next generation is because current consoles can't handle it, nothing more.

I hope that demo doesn't become FFXV. It looks cool, but I can't imagine it as a real FF game.

No, Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be renamed Final Fantasy XV. SE surprise!

I would actually be pleased if this turned out to be the new FFXV. I'm still not wild about the presence of more modern elements such as trucks and guns, but I find the protaganist in this trailer infinitely more interesting than the Mary-Sue that is Noctis, and it looks like the presence of monsters and magic is better integrated into the setting than it was in XIII.
