the soul is important in the series ?

Posted

Hi everyone, again, but this time I not have a formed theory about this , but , this thread is for discussion , nomura said that the series objetive is to discovery the meaning of the heart , since the first time I read the ansem reports enter in the journal saying that the beings in the serie is compost by heart, body and soul , my human brain always looking for patterns start guess that the enemies of KH 3 could be based on soul but , I dont know if it is the case , KH3D not have a hint about it .

Do you think that the soul is important in the series ?

Yeah, my hope is that if they're going to address that in III, since #1 was about hearts and #2 was about bodies.

Well, I guess. Without the soul, the body and the heart will not live?

Seem's like it would be. Maybe it can actually lead to some important plot points in KH3.

^ Yeah, maybe

Doesn't anybody remember when BbS first announced that the Unverse were mistaken to be people's souls when they first made an appearance?

I've always thought this. Souls seem important

I still feel like they kind of mixed up the definition of heart and soul in the game, but whatever. xD

Without true death in the KH universe and the characteristics of the heart being truely messed up and in-line with the soul anyway, i'm not sure what crap Nomura could come up with for the soul. I'd rather go back to heartless and nobodies for KHIII anyways considering the lack of interests the Unversed and Dream Eaters seemed to have in their creation. I didn't care much for most of them.

Yeah, I always thought the heart was synonymous with the soul. And they haven't done anything to clarify the mind's role from BBS.

Considering what yen sid said in the coded secret movie , with Xemnas death in KH2 ,Xehanort soul is now free (this dont make sense because xemnas is terra´s soul ) and probably the xehanort of the present time of KH 3 is a existence of soul + heart this could be a hook to ''soulless'' enemies born (or Endless like is show in another side another story), but we never know right of why the body reborn with the soul in nobody`s form (because of ansem study ? KH 3 needs a tons of new report entry to explain the mechanics before this ) I never truly undertand the unverse nature and the dream eater is basically pure blood Heartless born in the sleeping worlds.

Maybe in the next saga, and Sora will forget everything and there will be death (and other good and darker themes and characters)

People are the body + the soul + the heart.

Nobodies are the body + the soul.

Without the soul they'd just be a dead body.

So I think the soul is kinda important.

I'm not sure what else they can do with the soul other than make ghosts.

The Lingering Will.

I thought the soul connects the two (Heart and Mind/Body).

So, if you turn into a nobody or heartless then both things are not really completly disconnected. The soul could work as a "link", so when you are reborn both become the being they once were because their soul lead them back to the place where they were separated.

I read somewhere (I forget where...) that the soul is in the Nobody so perhaps the Soul is where the heart originates or something...

If the Soul is to play a part in the series I'm hoping it'll be post Kh 3
