well...if any of you had noticed......the model of Ansem's face in KH3D has been slightly changed ....I know this is a tiny little detail and I'm not nitpicking here.....but the old model was good....why change it????

Why not!? You have character. You see him in almost every game for ten years and then he suddenly gets his remodeled to something shitty. There are reasons to complain. I want Ansem's original face back in KH3. Ansem isn't nearly as badass as he was in KH1 or CoM. All because of that new face. He's not frightning anymore. He looks constantly angry. The original Ansem smiled at you as if he knew he could easily take you if he wanted to. The new Ansem is just, angry.

 

Maybe cause he died twice? I would be pissed at that

He looks whiter. And his face looks larger. and his hair has more lift... This is not Ansem SOD!!! It is a counterfeit! Probably a random Xehanort from a random timeline

The reason that Ansem's faced changed is because he had surgery because he didn't like how his nose looked! As simple as that! LOL. But in all seriousness, that is something that I noticed when I first played KH3D. I was like, something about Ansem seems different. So yeah, there's a slight difference, noticeable but slight. It was probably for some tech reason.

Had anyone noticed his face is noticeably brighter in 3D?

I'm thinking that they just changed it just because it's on the 3DS. Playing several games on 3DS like Super Mario 3d Land shows that they make face textures looks softer and more rounded to make it easier to view in 3d. If my logic is correct, we'll see yet another face texture when we see KH3 on whatever they decide to release it on, most likely a home console with great graphical power.

 

No, it wasn't because of the game being on 3DS. Look at the trailer for 1.5 and you'll see they're still using Ansem's new model.

I honestly prefer it more. Makes him and Xemnas look more connected.

I can't believe people genuinely whine about this. They just adjusted the model to look more like what they intended him to look in the first place.

I can't tell the difference, but that's just me.
