The Reaper’s Game~

 

I woke up…… on the street? What? I look up to see people walk by. A lot of people. Haven’t they noticed me yet?..... I’m in the Scramble. Picking myself up I walk to a nearby window. My white hair is still tied like my Childhood Hero. I look the same…. But a feeling tells me no…..

BURN

Ak! Something really burns! Wha the- I look to see my hand….. flashing….. a blue clock…….

2:00:00

My iPod 7 buzzes and I grab the thing.

~Go To CatStreet. You have 2 hours. Fail and face Erasure~

It says “From The Reapers”.

What the…..could it be….

“Scratch”

Ow! I look to see a frog with tattoos?

“Scratch”

Eep! Another one?! I look out to see…..more……

It’s the story……

Could I…… be playing The Reaper’s Game……..And if so…….How did I die?

I avoided the attack trying to take cover somewhere... Hey! we need to stop her or we all are gonna be erased!!! i shouted at everyone... " Destiny..... hang in there a little more"

I didn't know what was going now but used the last of the darkness to make time slow down. I tapped everyone's shoulders to let them be able to move freely except the girl named Destiny, "Us the time wisely." I said.

I awoke suddenly, feeling the aura of an intense light. (Josh! You don't have to counter the light! Just manifest it and use it to your advantage! If you can control it somehow, I can use it to animate my body back into existence!) Josh had memories that were stilled hidden, but so did I, and if Josh went then I did too, so now I need to return back to the Game. I grabbed my head, a searing pain burning in the back of it. (The light is too much, this amount isn't part of the equation of a Reaper's existence! We need to control darkness too, otherwise I won't be me! So Josh, I need you to release your full anger, and try and get everyone else to too!)

(Oh how I hate Algebra 2.)

I stared and stood still for a moment, seeing what Destiny was doing. Amazed and shocked I think: I can't believe this! Who knew Destiny was capable of something like this? I see some knife-wielding spirits coming from some huge light. I barely managed to dogde some of the incoming charges. Then I felt a tap on my right shoulder and saw everything going so slow. Scratching my head I think: Today is really something else. "Hey, did anyone expect Destiny to do this? I know I sure didn't!!" I start to slowly jog towards Destiny, moving past the 'commotion' as best as I could.

(I can't keep up. I come back and theres four more pages. Oh god i'm so confused.)

(Haha I come back and there's 68 missed posts, but just read through them, they go quick.)

(Well to summarize, basically my character right now is too upset to realize that her light rays things are almost killing everyone so everyone has to try to calm my character down )

"Tch this is not working...." I thought to myself as I made time resume and got an idea and shouted, "Don't you want to see your father again!?!?"

'Skull!' I screamed as loudly as I could from Josh's head, hoping he'd hear me. 'I need you to get mad, then collide that anger with her light, and I can take form again as a Reaper!' Josh wasn't responding to me, I hope he was okay. 'Please, my old- Partner! That's right, I remember now! Everything, like how we met and how we departed from each other and....' I stopped. 'The true identity of the new Composer and his true reasoning behind this specific set of days... Hurry, you have to do what I said or else we'll die for good this time!'

"Destiny, I promise I won't kill myself or you...understand Destiny that we are like your family. The World will End With Us...Destiny, Live why you can!" I yelled at her, looking at the ground.'I wish I could take my own advice...Noro, where are you?' I thought, staring at Joshua.

(ok forget a few post I've made)

'You remembered huh? I guess that spell wasn't strong enough.......ok' I transmitted and a red aura surrounded me as I flew over to the light pillars and took out Wolf's Rage and started hitting the pillars and fired red blast...

(Yeah...I'll try...uncle Noro.)

~Flashback~ (3 years old)

'Our creator....our god's wish is to kill Joshua...I will follow it!' I heard my mother say. I was even younger, unable to speak.

'Is it really god? Yes...it is, for our creator we'll have to kilm our son..!' I heard ny father say now.

everything went black. I never died there....but I didn't know what happened after.

~Next Flashback~ (6 years old)

"Uncle Noro....what happened to my parents? Why do I live with you and Sayo now?"

'You don't want to know what happened. You're too young...'

"I'm not too young!! I remember what they were doing to me that day, but what after? That was my life they were going to destroy, I DESERVE to know!"

'Not now!' Noro snapped.

~Next Flashback~ (still 6 years old.)

"Sayo, what is that?"

'It's a doll.' She smiled, I couldn't tell whether it was a happy or cruel one.

"Wait...is that a doll of me?"

'A voodoo doll...I can kill you with this. Hopefully you'll be nicer to me now.' She jabbed the doll with a needle and I felt pain.

~Next Flashback~ (10 years old.)

'Hey it's Joshua..! Let's mess with 'em after class! Yeah, he's weak it wont even be hard. Of course, he's just a little nerd.' I heard a few people in my school say, as usual.

After class ended, they decided to jump me. I was constantly being punched and kicked, helpless. I noticed an adult)look, but still ignore me. My life was miserable and helpless....meaningless.

~Next Flashback~ (11 years old.)

"Uncle Noro...my parents are coming out of jail today, can I go visit them?"

'...No, I'm sorry.'

"What? Why not?! They're my parents, tried to kill me or not, I have to atleast see them!"

'NO, Joshua. That's final.'

I felt angered, and ran out. I had to see them, whether it'd be pleasant or not. As soon as I saw them I felt like I was grabbed by something. A Shinigami?! I thought, as I was stabbed. My parents turned around to see me...the Shinigami didn't want witnesses, and murdered them too. 'That will be your early entry fee...' I heard, before finding myself in Shibuya.

~Present Time~ (Phew, quite a bit of flashbacks. Tell me if they're okay, Sodom and Juan.)

All those thoughts played in my head, and I burst into anger. I said nothing, just exploding in a twilight aura. "NO!!" (Not again, NEVER.) The darkness and light pulled Noro out of me and he materialized. I glared towards Destiny angrily. I didn't even feel like I was (insert Isaac or Joshua here.) anymore.

Destiny!! You are not alone! remember his words "Only allowing strangers in, we can find new ways to BE ourselfs! I tried to remember where i met Joshua, and why i feel like this at that moment but somehow i knew what i need to do... to save her... We are together on the game! we are partners, but also friends so just don´t give up...

(oops sorry)

The red blast collided with one of the pillars and formed a purplish color. My eyes shot open wide (Now's my chance Josh, I gotta go! We'll meet up again in a little bit bud!) I split my spirit with Josh's and came back into the plane of existence once more, but I was almost completely faded. I sprinted towards the conflicting emotions and took the full force of both blasts. A giant purple beam shot up into the sky, a dust cloud forming all around, obscuring any vision of the scene. I felt a sensational pain and collapsed to the ground, hoping my plan had worked. The dust began to settle, but the fight still raged on. I looked at my hand and noticed it became solid again. " I'm back!" I laughed joyously! I quickly got up and noticed Josh, who was getting angry. Then, I looked over and saw... my daughter. 'Sayo.... I'm so sorry I was gone for so long...' I choked up, holding back tears. 'Can you ever forgive me?'

"NOOOOO! WITHOUT THIS GAME I'M NOTHING! NOTHING! EVERYONE HATED ME! HATED ME!!!!!!!! YOU ALL THINK YOUR LIVES ARE WORSE?! TRY LIVING MY LIFE!!"

 

Uno looked at the screaming Destiny. Never did the girl who looked like she even wouldn't hurt a fly say anything about her life. Just what really happened? Uno looked at Josh. What was he doing?

"SHUT UP DESTINY!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH EITHER!" I yelled shedding a few tears in the process. I shot beams of light and darkness towards her, they intertwined while hitting Destiny and wrapped her in a twilight orb. I controlled it and swinged her across the ground and sky, eventually landing her right in front of me. "I'VE BEEN THROUGH TOO MUCH! IM SICK OF IT! If anything, I SHOULD BE THE ONE TO DIE RIGHT NOW!!" I snapped, and began to cry.

Isaas! i shouted as he and Destiny entered in conflict... then i noticed around me... the whole conflict of powers was manifesting on the RG .... beginning to cause much damage.... Destiny! Try to react! if you continue like thisyou are going to kill someone on the RG!! then i get it... her powers... the same situation... the reaper´s game.... i begin to remember my whole old life.... Stop!! Your mother´s sacrifice is not excuse for this madness!!! i shouted at her.. We live in our own worlds afraid of our troubles! So what?! you can´t threw all your life only for the pain!! you need to open yourself!!

With time reverting back to normal, two spirits managed to stab me in my left arm, leg, and near the right side of my right abdomin. On my knees I laugh at the pain and think: How do things end up like this? Getting injured when trying to help someone. But that sort of stuff is bound to happen right? I slowly get up on my feet, stumble a bit trying to walk and shout: "NO one said about having a life worse than yours!!! Everyone in this 'game', no matter what point in time, has gone through some tragic event. But I wonder, will dying, If that's possible to do again, or being in a furious fit will SOLVE ANYTHING?!?"

"..." I didn't want to think about right now and kept hitting the pillars then remembered....

 

~end week 1~

"Zero I have something to ask you of..."

What? The Composer never asked me for anything before, "What is it?"

"I want you to protect my daughter it the next week."

"What's her name?"

"Destiny."

 

~real life~

 

"Are you kidding ME!! YOUR FATHER LOVED YOU EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT HE STILL LOVED YOU!!" I shouted trying not to remember my past...

"Just don't leave again...I hate to be saying that to my own father but...seriously. I about killed myself because you were gone." I smiled, walking over, standing in front of Noro. "Promise?" she asked with a smile.

'Why am I always forsaken...' I thought, looking at my voodoo dolls on the ground. 'What if I killed them? I would go to hell...' I thought, standing up. "Maybe that's the best thing to do...." I laughed, gripping tightly onto Joshua's doll. I stormed out of the house, out into the fall air, running quickly down the road.

"I don't even get the point of my life...Why was I even born?" I asked, heading to the voodoo shop with Joshua's missed up voodoo doll in hand...

I saw Sayo and Noro finally reunite, but that just sparked my flashbacks even more. These dreadful thoughts and memories stayed in my head. I said nothing and continued to beat Destiny with light and darkness. I threw and dragged her across the area.

I flew back to dodge a large blade and destroyed it with one red blast and felt a large chunk of ice hit me hard in the back making me hit and building. There was a large amount of noise about 160, my head hurt but I could stand. So I made Wolf's Rage into lasers and prepared for fire and blasted about 70 dead and charged at the rest just hitting them with my cannons... 'That spell didn't work? I put half of my soul to do it...did he have to remember....' I thought to myself...

I smiled back and wrapped Sayo with a hug. 'Deal,' I said, blinking away my tears. 'We gotta stop your cousin though, he's gonna kill that girl and if he does, the Composer will get his way.' I stood up, taking Sayo by the hand with me. Hmmm.... I wonder where Haru was, she was about to say something before the day ended two days ago... No time to think about that now though.

"Joshua...You cannot kill Destiny. Do you just want to be killed yourself?" I asked, remembering I completely distorted his voodoo doll.

(Well guys......it's finally time.....)

 

I tried to handle it.....but when he said that....when he said..... "SHUT UP DESTINY!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH EITHER!" That...... is a-

"You think your miserable! Oh please my life has been nothing but lies! I-I. I'LL SHOW YOU!"

Power filled me.....

A lot..... of power...... I powered a beam with my hands. A beam that grew white. "DIE!" I aimed the beam.

"AH!"

 

Uno stood there.....in front of Josh.....as a light beam was through her heart.

She fell.....
