so, i told my parents today that i have begun being interested in the franchise Star Trek, and they thought it was great that i got a new hobby, do u have parents like that, or should i be lucky to have these kind of parents

My parents can really kind of care less what I am interested in, as long as it's not drugs, sex, or alcohol... so....

My mum (father left when I was dead) doesn't really care what I do with my life and just supports me regardless. When I told her I was watching a cartoon that contained themes of incest along with where you pay people to flirt (sounds like protestation) she was grand with it.

It was Ouran High School Host Club The description of it sounds more morbid and inappropriate than the anime actually is, but when I described it to her (like that) she looked at me weird but was grand with it. There is no real incest in it, if you watch the first episode you'll see what I'm on about

I'm allowed to interested in any of those... My mum sees it as my life and not hers to control. Although I still don't feel the need to watch porn though. That's just gross.
