The previous record of 7.8 inches of snow in 1964 for Dallas Texas was shattered by a 12 inch snowfall on Feb. 10th (yesterday)

If this is what global warming looks like then I need to invest in gloves.

Anyways...

ITS AMAZING! I've been messing around in it all day. Our spanish class went out and had a snowball fight, and later that day we got out of school early and today (friday) school was canceled.

I've seen snow maybe 9 or 10 times in my life, but I know this is THE MOST I have ever seen!

To anyone who knows, how goes it in other parts of Texas?

ah i've only been to austin, dallas, kingsville and houston xDD (mostly houston since i live near there) oh and san antonio. you're so lucky. houston almost never gets snow and i've been hoping it would get some during these days but i guess not D:

I live in Mississippi!!!! We got snow too! I have only seen snow here like 3-4 times! School was cancelled for us too. 8D I made a snowman, but he looked horrible. I also slid 10-13 feet down a hill because I am clumsy, but it was fun anyway.

Luckiez : I've never seen any in my life, and it's so hot here in Asia I want to see snow ;A;

"Central Texas" was too far south to really snow in majority of it.

Wow. Where I am, there's been snow on the ground since December. T_T Sounds fun for people who don't get snow much, but really, I just want to see green grass again. DX

me too D; i've only see/played i snow like 2 times...

I kinda feel sorry for you guys D; Snow's fun, but not when it means having -20 degree weather. Or something like that.

Melbourne was flooded last week.

And the last time it rained that hard was 2005.

I went up to Payson Saturday and there was snow!! I LOVED it. I mean I hate snow sometimes but it is fun. We had a HUGE snowball fight! Lol and it was soo funny cause all of us were wearing like Jeans and our impact choir shirt which isn't very warm but we were out there for hours like that and didn't get cold until two hours later!

 

Now, I'm back home in the nice heat again!
