Zack vs. Cloud (The Clash of the SOLDIERs, and only the true one won)

Warrior of Light vs. Lightning (Clash of the Light, but only Lightning clashed harder)

The Rules:

• The Competition is run through the topic poll.

• Each round runs from Noon-Noon the next day.

• My timezone is EST, so that will be the time I go by.

• To cast your vote, check the bracket and then vote for Option 1 or Option 2.

• Option 1 will always be the top character, while Option 2 will be the bottom.

• In the finals, Option 1 is on the left, while Option 2 is on the right.

• At noon, I will count the votes and the winner of the round is the one with the most votes.

• The next round begins immediately.

• DELETE YOUR OLD VOTE

• Then vote again.

• The round ends when I post a message saying that the next round has begun.

This way I can manage the competition without having to make separate threads about each round.

 

I'm not perfect- some days will be slightly shorter or longer than other ones.

Disclaimer: These pairing were assigned by a random number generator (with Yuna, Noel, Ramza, and Zack being assigned 14, 15, 11, and 16 respectively).

The main characters were chosen based on Dissidia. Many can make arguments that Vaan was not the main character, and Luneth could have not been the main one either, but I wanted to represent each FF in the fairest way possible.

I selected Noel and Yuna as protagonists from the numbered sequels.

I chose Noel over Serah because he is marketed as the main protagonist.

Ramza and Zack were chosen to represent Tactics and Crisis Core, taking the place of the customizable heroes of 11 and 14.

Hmm...this becomes a little harder... Still, I think I'll have to go for Tidus, especially since Yuna didn't make it.

Yeah, this round may be the more annoying for be because I haven't much experience with either game.

 

I'm going to go with Tidus though, because he seems nice and I like his story (from what I've read). And his laugh scene.

On a separate note, I can't believe Lightning was only winning by 2. Warrior of Light IMO didn't really do anything special. In fact, in 012, he was a bit of at duck.

Now it starts getting tough. >>

 

I don't have much experience with Zidane since I've only played FFIX for about 6 hours, and Tidus is...well, Tidus. Think I'm gonna go with Zidane this round.
