At the moment Xehanort is 1 person short of his New Organization, since Sora was rescued. What would your reaction be if he Norted Namine?

Unless your making a reference to the death of YX literally affecting the lives of other Xehanorts due to time pardoxes and stuff (which I assume you are) , all of them won't die at once. I cannot comprehend why they would all die. If you ARE referring to that, it's possible.

Xion is/was a person who took on a different appearance for everyone who looked upon her. Saix and Xemnas saw her as an empty tool to be used. She was more easily manipulated into fighting Roxas than fighting for her own existence. She was treated like an asset, and at times a spare. These reasons ought to vault her to the top of the list of potential vessels. What a better replacement for Sora as a vessel than Sora's Replica?

I actually considered that possibility. It would be a very easy way to maintain 13 Darknesses if you can just replace any you lose with a Replika.

He saw her in KH3D, and mentioned her when Xemnas revealed the puropose of Organization XIII. If he mentioned Xion, it's because he remembers her.

Hmmm.....my reaction if Namine were to be Norted: O_________________________________O*..........the heck just happened?!? That's what you get for messing with people's memories!!

 

I feel Roxas could be Norted as well....he does sometimes jump into things without thinking. He would do anything to save his friends which makes him vulnerable. So perhaps Xehanort could capture his friends and trick Roxas. Wait Roxas is inside Sora's heart still....hmmmm.....well Sora's a softy so he'd be all "I don't know this feeling, but I must save someone! Even though I have no clue what I'm doing!" And then he falls into Xehanort's trap, yadda yadda. Wow....that's evil.....maybe I'm the 13th vessel O.O

Didn't he also remember Xion because earlier Roxas held Sora's arms and showed him his painful memories as an Organization member and a "normal" kid living in Twilight Town? And Sora's still not awake then....so he's looking deeper into his heart...and other memories.....stinking sleep world and time travel, you confuzzle me! >n<

If Namine were norted, everyone would be screwed. I mean, she can control the memories of anyone connected to Sora. EVERYONE of importance in the series is connected to Sora! All of Xehanort's enemies would be taken care of and he would take over the world while everyone's stuck trying ot remember who they are...that or Namine just turns them all into norts too.

I payed attention. But those were only memories. The only Nobody who's return has actually been foreshadowed is Roxas. And not just because of the opening. There were other clues too.

And if Kairi's heart is untouched by darkness I'm pretty sure that Namine's, however undeveloped, is the same way.

Not really. Both BbS and 3D made it perfectly clear that, as I said before, the heart of a vessel needs to me almost copletely consumed by darkness in order to take over. Weak and underdeveloped hearts are simply easier to turn to darkness, but darkness still needs to exist in the heart to begin with. It cant be manufactured, only fed and manipulated.

Namine has her own memories, her own experiences, her own personality, powers, way of handling things, her own connections with people, and her own heart. She is in almost every way different from Kairi and Sora because her memories and experiences have shaped her into her own person. For better or for worse part of that "self" is that she feels that she shouldn't exist, or at least not exist as her own being. Diz has been telling her that she's a "Nobody" and Nobodies shouldn't exist, her powers have caused a lot of trouble and she feels that they can't do any good, and as a "Nobody" she belongs with her Somebody and wanted to disappear into Kairi. She either has little will to live or genuinely believes that becoming one with Kairi is the best that fate can offer her.
