While we know that the game is a spin-off, unrelated to the plot, do you think it will have a plot at all, and if so what will it be?

 

I came up with my own theory, which is that it takes place in the Data-World, which, free of Xehanorts and under a vastly accelerated time frame lead to the formation of multiple Keyblade wielders, with the worlds still in jeopardy, we create heroes to fight these threats to the worlds, but it won't effect the "real world"" of Kingdom Hearts.

Unlikely,but I hope so.

Probably not, I think it'll be about the keyblade war.

The world is full of light.

Various worlds are born in that light and so the light envelopes them.

From the source of Kingdom Heart’s light, there is a x-blade that is protected.

To that limit, the worlds believed in the eternal light.

However, a strong light creates a dark shadow.

From that darkness, anxiety and fear awakened their desire.

With the darkness hidden within the depths of their hearts awakened, chaos began to spread across the worlds.

In order to stop the spread of darkness, those who seek the light created a copy of the x-blade, a Keyblade, and an adventure concerning the fate of the worlds began.

 

This is all we know so far about KH for PC. It's definitely about the Keyblade War.

obviously from what the interview said and from what i read from the interview, it will certainly be about the Keyblade wars.

That description sounds like the story Kairi's grandma tells all the time, so I'm guessing this might take place during that story or maybe around the time of it, so I'm guessing probably around the keyblade war era too :0
