October 14, 201213 yr It is a tough call for sure, their really wasn't and ending in Birth By Sleep that was positive. But I'd say Aqua's is the saddest. Terra ends up tricked and possesed but from what we've seen in Blank Points he seems to have a decent chance at taking his body back over with Eraqus's help. Ven's asleep in Castle Oblivion but he takes shelter in Sora's heart. Aqua is trapped in the realm of darkness and has no idea what has been going on in the outside world, at least until she meets Ansem the Wise.
October 15, 201213 yr I didn't find any of them sad really but if I had to choose it'd probably be Terra. Only because I think he had the least worst story.
October 19, 201213 yr terra because he kill his master he think of him as a father and is tooken by xehanort the only reason i say that is because he made his last battle with his mind and not he real body it just sad because he had to live with those memory now
November 4, 201212 yr I have only beat Ventus and Terra so far, but I would have to say out of those two, Ven's was sadder.
November 4, 201212 yr Terra, he's trapped inside an old man's darkness forced to watch all these horrible things over the past 11 years go down, while having to acknowledge it's all partly his fault for being so naive. Meanwhile his "other half" is just frozen in one position for 11 years, only moving once to battle Sora.
November 4, 201212 yr I will be sorely disappointed if MX is merely killed in KH3, when he deserves to suffer similarly to how TAV have suffered. @Nomura - Do not let MX get off that easily. TAV didn't, so why should he? Edited November 4, 201212 yr by Alan Smithee
November 21, 201212 yr it's hard to decide Ven's ending is sad because he lost his heart...but somehow it's sad in a positive way because the scene with Sora was so nice and sweet Aqua's ending is sad because she is trapped in the Realm of Darkness only because she thought she helped Terra (but somehow her own fault because she thought the wrong thing) Terra's ending is sad because he was used and is still used for the bad stuff MX want to do....just there to be a vessel... I would say.....Ven because he is one of my favorite characters and Terra is not....I...somehow I don't like him
November 21, 201212 yr Aqua.. she alone in darkrealm to waiting for..... ... ... Yeah, Aqua... she had the greatest responsibility and let both of her friends and master down. She also had to strike down Terranort and made the ultimate sacrifice to save him.... seemingly in vain as the events of Kingdom Hearts onwards may never have happened if she didn't and Xehanort's tyranny wouldn't have continued. That's fate for you
November 21, 201212 yr Yeah, Aqua... she had the greatest responsibility and let both of her friends and master down. She also had to strike down Terranort and made the ultimate sacrifice to save him.... seemingly in vain as the events of Kingdom Hearts onwards may never have happened if she didn't and Xehanort's tyranny wouldn't have continued. That's fate for you The stress of ^this may push her to attempt to use KH for revenge on all Darkness in KH3. Irony: In trying to "tear down this tyranny of Light", MX inadvertently creates a second Eraqus. Edited November 26, 201212 yr by Alan Smithee
November 24, 201212 yr I can't really decide. One thing for sure, Aqua will be essential to save because only she knows how to get to Ventus. I feel sorry for all of them.
November 26, 201212 yr I felt Aqua's ending was the saddest as no matter what she did her friends got hurt around her and she ended up in the realm of darkness. She just got screwed over the whole game. That said I still feel said for both Terra and Ven and their respective endings.

Possible consequence(s) in KH3: She loses respect for Balance and becomes more like Eraqus, believing if she'd only worked harder to eradicate Darkness, then things might've turned out differently. If you ask me, Aqua's currently the best candidate for future Light-antagonist. And I'd sympathize with her, so very much. Edited November 27, 201212 yr by Alan Smithee
November 27, 201212 yr Possible consequence(s) in KH3: She loses respect for Balance and becomes more like Eraqus, believing if she'd only worked harder to eradicate Darkness, then things might've turned out differently. If you ask me, Aqua is the best candidate for Light-antagonist. And I would sympathize with her, so very much. Yes I agree completely. I can really see something like that happening in KH3 and I also agree I would sympathise with her. Still I don't think she will be killed like Eraqus and she will be turned around for the final keyblade war fight. Which hoping should be awesome!
November 27, 201212 yr I would say Ventus' because he was the one suffering the most, he wanted to find his friend Terra and that causes him to found out what he really was, and he ended in a eternal sleep. (unless someone helps him).
November 27, 201212 yr Very difficult choice, but I'd have to say Aqua's. That last desperate battle she waged against Terra/Xehanort must've been so heart wrenching for her; practically fighting her best friend (well...her friend's body, anyway).
i think it was ventus and aqua's ending was sad
