-Prologue-

 

The Old Composer, Joshua, gave the last watch to the players of the week before, “You will need these to keep in contact. They are designed to look like watches but are a lot more. You’ll easily get lost in this world so look out. I will be here and this is where you’ll report back at the end of the day. Oh and one last thing…” The players gave him a rather questionable look. “There will be one more person to your team.” Joshua looked at the blue door.

The door was pulled back to reveal a teen with somewhat messy black hair, he also wore a watch. Joshua pointed at him, “This is Takayama Akoi. He is my apprentice and will be helping you…or will try.” Akoi looked at the players and glared at him. Joshua looked at all of them, “Well I wish you good luck…”

“Try to survive…”

 

-Day 1-

 

I woke up to see all the other players asleep. Sigh…it’s expected. A little tug bothered my hand. I looked to see a green flame like clock with the numbers 3:00. Well that was expected too. The time started to count down as I looked at the other players. That’s when my cell phone rang. I flipped open the phone to read the READ ME message…

 

“Go towards Cirrcuke Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Go!”

- Grims

 

Heh, simple enough well…..for me. I cancelled the massage and began to data this right away. Yes, I keep tract of every moment in my phone. Best way to discover and complete….

 

“Day 1, Mission to go to Cirrckue Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Players still asleep.”

 

I put my phone back in my belt and get up.

(I've been with Sayo and Isaac for like twenty minutes and they already made me soft...) I thought as my shadow sent towards her intimidatingly then stopped at her face as a distraction, using a shadow behind her to impale through her arms and knees, disabling any from movement. "If so, I can kill you rigt this second. Are you sure you want me to go all out?" I asked calmly but intimidatingly.

Akane~

He..hehe...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. You fool! Let me show you... the power of a TRUE reaper!!!

Then her dark wings begin to grow, while her note sheet begin to cover her while she transforms....

I sighed as all of us reached Oron. I looked him in the eye while standing in front of Issac. "I'm giving you one more chance...change me and everyone else back and take us back to the real world..or die." I warned, pointing my blade at him, slightly looking at Skull.

~Selim~

"All you did was get louder and more annoying. Let's see what you have in store..." I grinned and my shadow grew across the entire area; anything within the shadow could be stabbed, smashed, crushed, practically anything...whenever I want to. (Ill help with Oron as soon as this one's done.)

 

~Isaac~

(I'm not killing anyone here. I'm not killing anyone...) I repeated mentally as I stood beside Sayo, shielding everyone but Oron and Akane with wind. (Would Sayo really kill him..?)

Oron- I remained in my throne with my rock-like skin, continuing to shape the world to my desires as Sayo threatened me. These little pests wouldn't stop me now... not after how far I'd come! I noticed Sayo slightly glancing at Skull, almost as if she were nervous. Then I noticed the floor being covered in shadows, but nobody else but Selim and I seemed to notice. I transmitted to Selim mentally, (When I give the signal, kill everyone but Akane and I... actually, kill Akane if you wish, but you can always finish your fight later. If that's too much, use your shadows to get them out of the castle and back into the city until I can buy us more time). Time to make my move. "Very well Sayo... I'll change you back..." I snapped my fingers and she returned to her normal state, but everyone else remained the same. I grinned slightly. "But you seem to forget what I am now. A man with many connections, in fact I'm connected to everything now, as is the duty of a god." I nodded toward Selim, giving him the signal to either kill them all, or get rid of them for now so I could finish the molding of the city. I hope this kid makes the right choice....

I put my hand with Moon's Rain in front of Isaac as white orbs went towards the eye. Then the white eye glowed white as a white sphere came out and flew over to Isaac and absorbed black orbs that were wounds and inside wounds and the orb became gray and then it sucked black orbs from everyone else except Oron, Selim and Akane. And the pure white orb became black and went back to me absorbing all the wounds... I then walked in front of Sayo and said, "Don't forget that I work for the composer too."

I was back to my normal state, thank God, and I was much more better off in this state, being at least more flexible and shorter, and more modest, and my hair was back to being black. "I know that you are still a god and have control of this land, but we can still save it..." I said with a slightly determined smile. "Where is my Father, Tetsu, Auron, and Bronshu?" I asked, still having my blade to Oron's face. 'Thanks Issac...' I thought.

Bronshu: When I got to the front entrance, I stopped and looked back at Diasor. I then shout: "Hurry up and get here Diasor! I'm sure those guys will catch up! Let's go!!" I opened the doors and walked inside.

 

Diasor: I shout: "I said don't order me around!! But as an extra percaution..." I jumped back into my mech-suit and pressed a button that opened up four nearby garage doors. Out of them came 8 lion and cheetah Mecha-Noise. I then pressed a button to make my suit hover and flew inside with my creations.

(Here's what I pictured the castle to be like, except with giant stairs leading down to the city)

Oron- I felt Sayo's blade against my face, yet she was still unaware of the hardness of my skin. Selim needed to act, and like right now, otherwise I'd have to postpone my molding and take care of the pests myself. I glanced over at Skull, then back to Sayo. "Well, I'm surprised you actually give a damn about Bronshu, but then again, you and your father do share the same nature...... However, I know nothing of Bronshu's whereabouts, but the others..." I closed my eyes and concentrated for a moment. I saw Tetsu, Auron, and the younger Noro at the bottom of the stairs already, looking upwards at the legion of monsters in their path. How did Noro become younger again? Someone must have access to a certain type of magic I could make use of..... I opened my eyes back up again and said, "They're about to be devoured by my creations at the bottom of the new steps I created.... So what's it going to be Sayo? Are you guys going to help them and fight the monsters alongside them, or are you going to succumb to revenge and strike me down now, a perfect opportunity to end all of this." I gazed her dead in the eyes, the first time I actually made eye contact with her. I could see Noro's eyes in her, eyes of well-being, yet they were masked with fake emotions and feelings... I summoned a portal next to all of them. "The choice is yours, if you decide to kill me, then your Father, Tetsu, and Auron will surely die, but if you take this portal leading to their side, you can still save them."

Noro- I nodded at Tetsu. "Yeah I'll be fine now, thanks to you." We gazed at the stairway ahead of us that was thousands of yards long, filled with at least 10,000 monsters of various sizes, and at the summit of the stairs was the Castle. They were so long they almost appeared to be endless, but luckily it was a cloudless day and we could see the top. I decided to nickname them the Endless Stairway and the castle, Heaven's Fortress. I don't know how we'd be able to defeat all the monsters and get to everyone, but we couldn't just sit down here and let Oron continue destroying this world. "I'm ready when you guys are," I said to Auron and Tetsu.

I transmitted to Sayo, "You can do it Sayo. I have powers of a Composer I'll make sure that they won't die trust me...." I remembered from the beginning I had these powers but didn't use them...I never remembered why I didn't though....

'Okay, thanks Skull...' I thought with a slight smile, turning to Oron, dead serious again. "What's your choice?" I asked.

"Sorry Akane, I should probably attend to some business first." I enwrapped myself in a shadow and seemingly vanished into it.

Soon enough, I mysteriously appeared behind Oron, sitting in my own large shadowy throne."Ah this is really what it's like to be king! "So the very COMPOSER of the Game wants a little boy to take care of some pests?! HAH! You're a damn fool Oron, especially after just choking me to my near death! Maybe if you didn't do that and even kept me more alive, THEN I'd help you. But no you chose not! You're a true damned fool, Oron. And just LOOK at the sun today! So bright. You know...I heard a nice demotivational saying for everyone but me, quite motivational for myself. The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes. Heh, let's test that!" My shadow grew from behind me and the throne and dashed down the castle, soon enwrapping the entire RG in shadow! Eyes and teeth bulged out and all at once stared Oron down, it must have been atleast 1000 eyes. "Oh dear it did work. Now then Composer, let's see how well you fight against me now! The shadow will interfere from changing the place too...good luck. Hahahah, you LOST ORON!!!"

(Skull healed Isaac and company except Oron and Akane)

Bronshu: I stopped in the hallway and turned around. I saw Diasor coming in with some of his Mecha-Noise. But then I saw shadows spreading all over the place. Looking around I whispered: "More shadows? Is this more of Selims' work?"

 

Diasor: Upon entering the castle I see Selims' shadow moving about. I start to think: Now what is that kid up to?

Oron- A fool's mistake no doubt, thrusting responsibility into a kid. They never do the job the way you want them too, and here I was, paying yet again for my mistakes. Here I was, cornered into choices. If Selim killed me, he would no doubt use his powers to take my place and become the Composer, since that's how the rules work. The chaos he would release into the world would be even greater than that of mine, but I do this only so I can spare everyone the fate of having to suffer through this Game. If I destroyed the dimension this Game took place in, I could simply send anyone to Heaven or to Hell without the Game before, sparing everyone emotions that they shouldn't have to face. But how would I ever get anyone to trust me now? After I'd practically killed just about everyone, here I was, staring at a giant beast... I looked back over to the chained up Destiny, then simply hung my head defeated. "Know this my children... I'm so much more older, stronger, and wiser than all of you... You all fail to see the reasoning behind my goals.... I'm not pure evil, but my actions are." I rose from my throne, my stone-like skin reverting back to normal. "I can no longer make changes to this world, but what I have done is already done. You guys will be the reason everyone else has to suffer and if you kill me now, you guys will be the ones seen as pure evil." I put my head back up and stared directly at the huge monster. "I may die... but my legacy will live forever... Others will try and replicate my actions, and some will succeed, being more powerful than I ever was. Some will fail. But whatever..." I stopped and turned to Destiny. "Shame on me for caring about other's futures, trying to spare people the pain and suffering that I had to endure.... That's right, I was a Player just like all of you once." I turned over to Selim. "But now, I just don't care...." I held my arms out wide, ready for the monster to end me. Nobody will step in and save me... and I was ready for that fate. I hurt many people in the process, but only to prevent an even greater number of suffering. My vision was so close in my grasp, and yet here I was, ready to forfeit it all over. My ambitions.... were diminishing.

"Maybe you're right. Even compared to a witch like Akane, or an avaracious body-controller like you...maybe I am...a true...monster. But I have no intentions of taking your place as Composer." I sighed and a giant shadow scooped up Oron into the air by its jaws, ready to snap and devour him. "Any regrets, last words? Or would...Sayosuki want the last blow?"

"It was my job to get Destiny out of this game in the first place not yours. However you can't be the new composer until the real one dies. But you know I can make you back into a player...." I said as my Reaper wings got a little larger...

"Well he did take over my father, almost kill me God knows how many times, and screwed this world up, sure! Thank's Selim." I laughed, then turning serious as I faced Oron. I held my blade to the left side of his neck. "No hard feelings, okay?" I asked with a smile, drawing my sword back. I looked at Isaac and Skull again if they wanted to protest me decapitating Oron's head.

'I've made my mind so have at it Sayo, I can at least make him dream of his player days." I transmitted...

~Selim~

"So be it." I sent the shadow down and dropped Oron in front of Sayo as I came down from my own shadowy throne, seeing Isaac protest against Sayo. (He really doesn't want anyone to die, huh? He's too soft. At least he's finally standing up, hopefully he'll gain a better backbone).

 

~Isaac~

"Sayo..." I barely muttered, like a whisper. "Stop..." She still wouldn't hear me. "STOP!!!!" I finally snapped and yelled. "Sayo don't....don't do this. You don't need to kill him...no one needs to die..." I felt my eyes watery, but I tried to stop it, and I did stop myself from crying at all. "I know Oron deserves to die, that's a fact, but...killing him isn't the right way to go, Sayo."

I looked at Isaac, slightly crying in protest. "Isaac...what else is there to do? Keep him alive and make him become good again?" I asked, slightly lowering my blade, then turning back to Oron. "I have to do this..." I said rather silently.

Oron- I gulped... Why was everyone so hell-bent on revenge? Poor Sayo and Selim, never lived a full life to learn any morals. They murder without regrets... If I became a Player again, then my actions were useless.... The only way for me to carry on my legacy was to die, and that was it. Sayo was about to kill, and was happy about doing it. Then for some reason I joked, "Hard feelings? I'm already dead. As are you, and you, and you," I said nodding my head towards Sayo, Isaac, and Skull. "This is what I cannot understand... why do you want to stay in this Game? All that can come out of it is pain. I could have ended that and sent you straight to paradise..... where you could have seen your mother Sayo.... And you could have seen both your parents Isaac.... and Skull, I could have returned your family to you... But go ahead Sayo, kill me..." That's when Isaac burst out, breaking his silence. He pleaded with Sayo not to kill me, the first sympathetic notion anyone had had for me in such a long time.... But then Sayo still insisted, and turned back to me. I nodded and knelt down in front of Sayo, closing my eyes.

~Isaac~

"If Oron's so bent on dying let him kill himself! If not then that's our problem again! What can he do to us when no one but Akane is on his side?! We didn't even have to fight him and he lost this. Killing him won't do anything more than sparing him Sayo! I promised you last week that I wouldn't hurt you again...but if you decide to try and take Oron's life...maybe I'll have to break that promise to get it through."

"Your just trying to forlorn me again, aren't you Oron?!" I yelled, gripping onto the blade. 'Forgive me...Isaac...' I thought. I held my breath and tightly shut my eyes and swung the blade across, decapitating Oron's head. I kept my eyes closed and let out my breath, turning around and walking to the direction of Isaac, throwing the bloody blade to the side, not looking back at Oron's dead body. I made it to Isaac and hugged him. "I'm sorry Isaac...I had to...please don't let your anger out on me, I had to kill him..." I said as a tear fell from my eye. 'Grreeeaaattt....now your crying Sayo...' I thought sarcastically.

I watched the bloody head burst and walked over to pat Sayo's back. "You did good its all over..." I walked back to the splattered head and pulled up a screen, 'Oron's soul is still faintly here I can make him die happily...' I transmitted him into dreaming about his happy life... The poison was then back I felt weaker and in more pain then...I teleported... 'What!? A forced teleport!?!' I wonder as I was in my secret hide out room as a bunch of noise surrounded me. I tried moving but the poison paralyzed me, 'Shit!!!' I thought as everything went black.............'No one could save me......'
