-Prologue-

 

The Old Composer, Joshua, gave the last watch to the players of the week before, “You will need these to keep in contact. They are designed to look like watches but are a lot more. You’ll easily get lost in this world so look out. I will be here and this is where you’ll report back at the end of the day. Oh and one last thing…” The players gave him a rather questionable look. “There will be one more person to your team.” Joshua looked at the blue door.

The door was pulled back to reveal a teen with somewhat messy black hair, he also wore a watch. Joshua pointed at him, “This is Takayama Akoi. He is my apprentice and will be helping you…or will try.” Akoi looked at the players and glared at him. Joshua looked at all of them, “Well I wish you good luck…”

“Try to survive…”

 

-Day 1-

 

I woke up to see all the other players asleep. Sigh…it’s expected. A little tug bothered my hand. I looked to see a green flame like clock with the numbers 3:00. Well that was expected too. The time started to count down as I looked at the other players. That’s when my cell phone rang. I flipped open the phone to read the READ ME message…

 

“Go towards Cirrcuke Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Go!”

- Grims

 

Heh, simple enough well…..for me. I cancelled the massage and began to data this right away. Yes, I keep tract of every moment in my phone. Best way to discover and complete….

 

“Day 1, Mission to go to Cirrckue Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Players still asleep.”

 

I put my phone back in my belt and get up.

Time for real…

~Selim~

"What the hell, Akane..." I.grumbled, my shadow erupting fifteen spikes to the Noise. "Hey, everyone, looks like its been busy." I remarked sarcastically.

 

(Too much happened to miss Ultimus! Welcome back)

"Oh Selim. What have you've been up to?" I asked shooting one noise away.

(Right. Thanks.)

 

Bronshu:  I layed on my back for a little while, seeing stars circling around me.  I shook my head and quickly got on my feet.  I walked forward with my left hand out and felt a wall, but didn't see anything.  Curious, I fold my arms and think:  An invisible barrier?  If I remember right, there has to be a Reaper that says about a condition you have to do before advancing.  I felt my stomach growl, put my right hand over the spot, and thought:  But first, I need some food!  I sill haven't eaten in over a week.  I started looking around for the nearest food place.

 

Diasor:  I made some drifting turns and thought:  Ready or not Bronshu, here I come!

~Selim~

"Ah, hey Skull. Right about to go against our Game Master here I guess Akane decided to ship me back with you guys." I sighed, sitting down on my shadow while waiting for Sayo to finish. "Bronshu and Diasor are back from their absence yesterday too, hopefully they arrive soon." I said, seeing them through a distant shadow. "Ah, nevermind Skull. Diasor's chasing Bronshu whom decided to take a snack-time break..."

"I've killed my share I'll come with you." I said flying up to him noticing Diasor's and Bronshu's locations...

~Selim~

"Sure thing." I remarked, clearly bored out of my mind. The shadow grew into Reaper Wings and I flew to Bronshu and Diasor alongside Skull.

Bronshu:  So far I couldn't find a good place.  But I stopped when I saw the same noodle I went to yesterday.  I quickly ran inside and after five minutes I walked out with some packed beef ramen.  I sat down on a bench and opened the box with a satisfied look on my face.  But before I could eat, I heard tires screeching.  Frowning I think:  Not now.

 

Diasor:  I see Bronshu sitting down on a bench.  I skid my suit to a halt and say:  "Here you are.  You have a lot of entertainment to make up for the past two days, along with today."

 

Bronshu:  "Can't it wait after I start and finish eating?"

 

Diasor:  "Huh.  Well, I don't want you to fight with no strength, but you decide to eat now?  There are some major things happening."

 

Bronshu:  "Look, I haven't eaten a single freaking thing since before my first week in this ridiculous 'game!'  I couln't do it on day 3 because of some other matter that was going on and for whatever reason I slept throughtout all of day 4.  I'd appreciate having some momentary peace and enjoy a meal that feels like I haven't done for years!!  So please, can you just wait for a few lousy minutes?!"

 

Diasor:  "Jeez.  Alright, go ahead."

 

Bronshu:  "Thank you." I said and resumed my satisfied gaze.

I glided down to where Bronshu and Diasor were. "Come on, let's go. You have to be there for them to proceed and you're being timed." I explained as my shadow grew and open its jaws. It quickly beamed to.Bronshu and scooped the noodles, devouring it all whole. A single noodle was missed and dropped atop Bronshu's head. "Those were good noodles, now let's GO."

(Rawr...pressure the poor girl <_<)

 

"One second...god..." I complained, hitting back the noise. Five...four...three...two...one. Finally, I finished off the noise. "Don't pressure me so much, you know what happened yesterday." I snapped, lowering my blade.

Oron- Isaac's shadow caught me off guard, much like I'd done to Isaac himself. I responded, "Well, I haven't considered the course of action I'll be taking yet. He is the only being in this world that showed me loyalty and respect, with the exception of Skull who pitied me and allowed for my resurrection. So for now, I'm not gonna do a thing unless he asks me to. Sayo doesn't need me to make her go on a guilt trip.... She's already on one! Obviously she's just trying to mask her emotions, something her father would have done. Honestly I gotta say, getting your head chopped off hurts like hell. I don't really want to do that again... Wait a minute, what are you exactly anyway? Why haven't you taken Isaac over yourself?"

~Isaac's Shadow~

"That's a shame. I'll wait and see your actions then. You may have a point on Sayo actually and-- Oh right! Oron, you can say I am Isaac's Shadow...you can say I'm Isaac. No...more like a parallel Isaac. Yes parallel, that's the word. You see...all of his light is what darkness I have. What little darkness he has is what little light I have. His sense of mercy drives me ruthless, his caring drives me cruel, his shyness drives me eager, and so on. As for your next question, it is just what I had said before, my darkness is parallel with his light, and so only when he is at his lowest points and moods is when I come in to take over. In fact when Isaac hit his low point after Sayo first killed someone-- you-- is when I came into existence." The light began to come closer, I guess Isaac was putting his mind towards Oron for now...I wouldn't want to spoil anything to the brat. "Here comes the Isaac of the Light."

 

~Isaac~

I got up as Sayo finished and walked, "So where to now?" I asked Sayo and Auron. (So Oron, what do you know if my parents?) I asked mentally. (And...I don't know if I'll be able to tell anyone of you being with me...maybe not even Skull...)

- Objetive met. Wall clear. 

Then the barrier dissapeared. 

 

Auron~

Mmm All right next up, AMX and Center Street Entrance, and we will be on the Scramble crossing! I said while beginning to run again, reaching AMX and then turning down on Central Street Entrance. By the way, do you think Selim and Wolf found Bronshu and the mechanomaniac? I asked to the others.

Oron- So in a way I was the reason for the creation of Isaac's Shadow....  funny, normally I took life, not created it. I heard Isaac ask about his parents again. "This may be painful at parts to hear, but you're strong enough to overcome it. Well you see Isaac, way back many years ago, and I mean thousands, I was a human. I conquered the world, tapping into powers I'd acquired from my journey into a parallel world, the Game. I returned back to humanity and used my powers to alter every human in the world into several different types of humans, some which embraced the darkness, some which were beings of utter light. Some chose the sides of neither. I graced myself with the darkness and gained even more power than before, but then I came of age and simply died. I was forced to play through the Game, but I was almost defeated by the Composer himself.... my father. However, just when he thought I was dead, I used the darkness to create an ultimate weapon right there, and struck him down. He simply disintegrated and I became the Composer. At first the Game was joyous to rule over, but then nightmares of slaying my father haunted me. I decided to destroy the Game, but before I could attempt it, I was banished by the gods themselves and forced to relinquish my Composer status and instead had to become a Reaper... not a Reaper in the Game, but a Reaper that kept light and darkness in check. Those who'd I'd created were supposed to keep their respective nature, whether it be darkness or holiness or even both. I walked the Earth, killing many to control this. One day, thousands of years later, I stumbled upon your family, beings that were extremely powerful in their nature, to the extent they managed to create a new species of power. They'd somehow created children who'd embraced both the light and darkness and were able to exist with both. A group of researchers had come of with this idea to breed incredibly powerful offspring, and these were your grandparents. They gave birth to Noro, your father, and another girl... one I'd killed before she found out what she was. It was still my job to keep everything in check, and your father and uncle and aunt's existence completely violated my orders. I spent years tracking them down, and after I killed your aunt, I went after your father and uncle. That's when I discovered grandchildren, Sayo and yourself. You guys could be even more dangerous if your mothers were also cross-breeds, so I had to kill you. But I was unable to alone, so I asked the gods for help and they sent me Reapers from the very Game I'd opposed, the one that put me in the situation to kill my father. You guys were secluded in a field on a family picnic, and we found you all together at once. We were ready to destroy you and Sayo first, but then Noro, Lillian (his wife), your father, and your mother stepped in. One of my helpers, Keith, a Reaper you may very well remember, was the one that killed your mother and father. I took the life of Lillian in order to get to Sayo, ironically the one that killed me in the future, but Noro and Skull were able to slip away with you guys. We eventually found Skull and Noro and killed them, but you guys were hidden away. A couple years later, we found you guys and killed you too, but in the Game you were still dangerous, even in death. I was only able to enter the game in a the form of a phantom due to my banishment years before, but I quickly resolved that by possessing Noro. It was a perfect opportunity to destroy the Game and you guys too, but I failed. You may not like everything I told you, but it was my job to keep things in check. But with this knowledge, I can help you bring out the incredible power you have lurking inside your soul. I'm afraid what Sayo would do if she found out she was a cross-breed too, since she's more lenient toward the darkness, so please keep this between just you and I. I'm sorry to tell you this, but I am the reason that led to your parents demise. However, if someone destroys the Game, nobody will be forced to go through what you and all your family had to go through, or even what I was forced to do. This is an immense amount of knowledge, do you fully understand what you are and what you have the potential to be?"

"We are almost out of time Auron..." I said, looking at my timer. I turned to Isaac who seemed to be zoned out. "Hey, are you okay? Come on, we have a mission." I said, grabbing his hand and walking with him, fallowing Auron. "I think they probably found them..." I said sort of cluelessly.

Bronshu:  I picked up the one noodle on my head and looked at it.  My right eye started to twitch.  I curved my head to the left, and then to the right.  When I had my head back to it's regular place, I reached into my right pocket for my phone and have it go like:

 

Then, with tears in my eyes, I shout:  "Whhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?!?!?"

 

Diasor:  I was speachless.  I thought:  Never have I met a person who was so passionate about food.  He's like that one character.  I pressed a button that transformed my suit into its hover mode and followed him and Selim.

I know we are running out of time. I said while keeping running. Finally we reached the Scramble Crossing. Uff... finally... Hachiko is just ahead of us. Mmmm i think we need to wait for the rest. I said while loking at Sayo and Isaac. "Akane.... get ready for us!" 

I was amused by Bronshu and snickered a little. But then I kept up with Selim and Bronshu.

Bronshu:  I looked behind me and saw Skull laughing.  I then say:  "You think that's funny huh?  How would you like it if someone took away your meal when you haven't eaten for a long time?!"

 

Diasor:  I chuckle a bit and say:  "But you have to admit that was kind of funny.  Hilarious even."

 

Bronshu:  "Nobody asked you Metal-Mania!!"

 

Diasor:  "Whatever."

"Ever since 'that' I've been starving for 7,000,000 years." I said as I remembered those years..

Akane~

So... they are near..... She said while getting up of the bench near Hachiko´s statue. Tetsu.... Sorry... but I need to end this. For our sake. she said while looking her purple orb. A promise is a promise huh? 

I teleported us back to where Auron, Issac and Sayo were.

 

(It just makes it faster)

~Isaac~

(I already know you and Keith were the ones leading to their deaths.) I said to Oron boldly. (S-sorry Oron just...nevermind. But anyways, that means Sayo and I are half-breeds of Light and Darkness-- Twilight-- I took more Light than half and Sayo was given the majority of Darkness. That all makes sense to an extent...but what do Sayo and I have the 'potential' to be?) I asked Oron. Talking to Oron I was completely spaced out, like a daydream. Even after we finished I subconsciously stayed like that for quite a while, noticing Sayo late. "Oh s-sorry Sayo." I muttered quietly, but loud enough for her to hear. "If anyone needs a weapon, tell me. I can use a lightning-like plasma to create a confined blade, it just takes energy. They're powerful and can easily ki-- defeat someone fast." I suggested to Auron, Sayo and the others, hesitating and eventually not even saying the word 'kill.'

It was kind of funny...I was slightly afraid to fight Akane...but isn't it natural for people to be afraid before a life or death situation? It was day 5...I had to remember that...almost the end of the week. I looked at Isaac and gave a slight nod to him, stepping in front of him so he wouldn't get hurt first. One thing I have to do is keep everyone safe, but that's impossible to do alone, so I have Auron to help me with that. It's kinda like a 'You protect me- I'll protect you' thing. "Akane...Im pretty sure we are ready." I spoke, clenching onto my blade.
