-Prologue-

 

The Old Composer, Joshua, gave the last watch to the players of the week before, “You will need these to keep in contact. They are designed to look like watches but are a lot more. You’ll easily get lost in this world so look out. I will be here and this is where you’ll report back at the end of the day. Oh and one last thing…” The players gave him a rather questionable look. “There will be one more person to your team.” Joshua looked at the blue door.

The door was pulled back to reveal a teen with somewhat messy black hair, he also wore a watch. Joshua pointed at him, “This is Takayama Akoi. He is my apprentice and will be helping you…or will try.” Akoi looked at the players and glared at him. Joshua looked at all of them, “Well I wish you good luck…”

“Try to survive…”

 

-Day 1-

 

I woke up to see all the other players asleep. Sigh…it’s expected. A little tug bothered my hand. I looked to see a green flame like clock with the numbers 3:00. Well that was expected too. The time started to count down as I looked at the other players. That’s when my cell phone rang. I flipped open the phone to read the READ ME message…

 

“Go towards Cirrcuke Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Go!”

- Grims

 

Heh, simple enough well…..for me. I cancelled the massage and began to data this right away. Yes, I keep tract of every moment in my phone. Best way to discover and complete….

 

“Day 1, Mission to go to Cirrckue Ave. Defeat 100 noise. Players still asleep.”

 

I put my phone back in my belt and get up.

Time for real…

Techno~

 

Zero was staring at the sky with blank eyes,"Wait...again??" I formed a sphere of light and let him absorb it. He blinked and woke up then sat up looking at me, "Techno? What...are you doing here?"

"What about a more important question like what happened to you?"

"The light inside me was fading away quickly..."

"Why?"

"I think its these..." I flapped the reaper wings.

"Those are the reason you became my shadow....."

"Is that so...well lets get back. And act like your usual self." He said teleporting us to the cafe.

I looked back at the cafe once more, starting to feel regret for leaving Skull and Techno. "Auron...can we go and get Skull and Techno? I don't want to leave them alone. Plus if we travel together, we can fight that reaper better." I said, looking up at him with worry. I then let go of Isaac and turned back around. "I don't want them to get hurt either..." I said quietly.

~Isaac~I followed Sayo as she grabbed me and talked to Oron. "Lead? What can I lead anyone to? I follow others because I have nowhere to go, sometimes they might even need me on their road. Where could I lead someone to? Death...their death, my death, or anyone else's. It's how everything's been so far...just ending at death on whatever path I follow. Even with my cousin...the only person I really have left...even her road...lead to death before. I don't need to bring others along with me, if I lead, I lead myself and that's all." I told him bluntly. I looked to Selim after Sayo let go of me. (Will he be...the last Reaper after Diasor?)

I looked at Skull once again and saw the blood dripping from his side. I used a light healing spell on him, 'At least the blood will gone...'

"Thanks....Techno." He said looking at me tired eyes.

"You've been pushing yourself too much. Your internal injuries have increased too."

"...It's nothing I can handle it... Besides I can't die as long as the Composer's daughter is in the game..."

"And what happens after that!?"

"I'll have to stay alive in the game for who knows...it will take time for them to release me back into the real world...."

"Why.......why you?"

"I don't know why Techno....they just choose me.....I can't do anything about it....But let's catch up with the others shall we?" He grabbed my hand and ran out of the cafe...

'How can he be so calm about this!?!?'

I stared at Skull and Techno as they started heading our way. Skull seemed off. "Skull, are you okay?" I asked, walking up to him and staring at him, expecting an answer.  I turned to Auron and stopped him from walking by holding onto his sleeve. "Don't you need to wait? Skull is hurt, you can tell by his eyes." I stated, still holding onto Auron's sleeve behind him, he a step ahead of me. "You want to get out of this game, right? We need to get out of this game together. We are fighting to composer tomorrow. And if Oron comes back, then he does." I said quietly. 

"I appreciate that you care Sayo but...I can't leave the game.." I said as Techno let go of my hand and walked in front of me...

"It's true...I've seen it as well...he...has a seal on his chest... That seal can't be taken out of him or be destroyed...."

"Yep that's the truth but I'm happy with the time I can be with all of you." I said pulling down my funnel-collar and smiled.

'Wait...what? Even I have never seen him smile its......probably been years since he first smiled......'

I looked at Skull as he smiled, a real smile, a smile I haven't seen. The funny thing about Skull is that he hides behind his past and never feels truly with people who accept him, but I and all of us accept him. "Lets not die off to soon then." I said with a smile.

But you will, I thought to myself, eavesdropping on the conversation. The path these kids were on was going to sleep them simply to their demise, and that's what I was trying to warn Isaac about, but he wouldn't understand. And I didn't care either. I'm sort of fond of Skull for saving my life of course, but the fact that he like Sayo like a niece or even daughter so much bugs the hell out of me. How can you like someone that likes someone that hates you and that you hate back? I was giving this too much thought, and all I could do for now was wait. Maybe once that shadow came back, he would actually listen to me and agree to form an alliance, otherwise he could just be vanquished a second time.... sort of like I was.

I soon regreted saying something about our deaths, remembering Oron's words, his dead head smiling on the ground, the reached feeling on my sword as I chopped someone's head off. I looked at the ground and walked over to Auron's side as Oron's words echoed in my had the first time I killed him. 'Sayo...do you believe in happy endings? Because you won't have one...' the words repeated. Tomorrow scared me to death, today scared me to death. Oron scared me to death, the thought of death itself to any of us frightened me. "If Oron reveales himself, I'll kill him." I said aloud, saying to word kill with a little hesitation.

Huh? Sayo... what did you say? I asked confused... looking at Sayo... i don´t know if she was furious or sad... if we won the game we will be free... well at least almost everyone... Tetsu words...."Remember that the one who defeat the composer..." .... 

Sayo...I´m here for protect you...you don´t need to harbor all the pain. I said looking at her... In fact... wiat a sec... What am I doing???

"Are you sure you want to protect me Auron? You've seen me. I kill people for a living, I killed my own father, I almost killed Skull, I almost killed Isaac back there, but I could'nt. I killed Akane with you and showed no mercy. Why would you want to protect me? Is it because Noro told you to? You shouldn't have listened to that foolish man." I said looking up at Auron. "You don't need to protect me, I'll protect you. You cannot defend yourself that well so trust me okay?" I said with a smile, then turning around and starting to walk off again.

I pulled my funnel-collar back up making my normal unemotional face. Then transmitted to Techno, 'Techno help me make sure that we are the ones to defeat the composer.'

'Got it.'

'And try to make sure the light within me doesn't run out...if it does I'll....'

'Don't worry about it I got your back.' Techno patted me on the back and started walking again.

I followed after him and the rest....

~Isaac~

I simply listened to the conversations being held, waiting to leave to Bronshu and Diasor. Waiting for the mission-- and waiting for the Game to end. Fear ran down my spine at the mentioning of killing Oron-- I started to wonder if there was any more fear in me to possibly have. The fear of death was everywhere, but hearing the possibilities of me dying with Oron made it that much worse, especially coming from Sayo. She is my cousin-- she is all I have left, but if she can kill off her father with little hesitation...I just...would be easy to kill...like a mere fly on her face. Just swat me away and I'm gone for good, I don't matter. The fear began to channel my darkness and the shadow returned, still very gradual and small. It was practically flickering inside of me. (Oron...promise me if you take over this body...you'll stay away from Sayo. Don't hurt her and don't let her hurt you...) I thought to him as I looked up at Sayo, Skull and Auron. (Noro-- a foolish man?! That's her father...how can she just neglect him like that?) I thought to myself, luckily able to hide my thoughts and emotions. Right now I want to help Skull with whatever he's feeling...but I can't help myself.

I grabbed Auron and dragged him with me after Skull. "Hey hurry up Isaac." I yelled, then running up behind Skull.

(Sorry for not being on here, but this is the only thing I can put up for now since I got some work to do.)

 

Diasor:  Tapping my left hand, I thought:  Those other players might be looking for Bronshu.  I should probably provide them the mission.  I pull out my phone, text:  "Defeat 400 monsters:  200 regular Noise and 200 Mecha-Noise.  Find and defeat the last two large Mecha-Noise.  They'll be with the new Game Master in an open clearing near a certain river.  No time limit.  Failure will end in a 'Mechanical Mishap.' " and sent the message to everyone except Bronshu, since he's hear and knows about it.

 

Bronshu:  Before opening and drinking out of the first container, I see Dia-Killer getting ready to fire one of its laser cannons.  But instead at me, it fired at a row of buildings and utterly destroyed them.  Not believing this, I shout to Diasor:  "What the heck man?!  What's with the destruction?!"

 

Diasor:  I looked at what it had done and shout back:  "I didn't tell it to do that.  But.."  I laugh maniacally and resumely say:  "From what I guess, these two actually enjoy destroying things!"

I read the message, "Tch...Techno your free to not hold back."

"What?? You serious!?"

I held my phone in front of his face, "Take out the two large ones, I'll go all out on the rest. Oh while doing that do a scan of the whole area I'm sure Bronshu is not in a good situation right now."

"I get it." Techno ignited a large flame larger than the usual and summoned his special cannons 'Beat Blast'. They were about 20 feet long and rectangle filled with immense power.

"Oh yeah one more thing."

"What is it?"

"Your time limit is 3 minutes."

"Easy I'll finish in 1."

"Overpowered as usual." And with that Techno was gone in 2 seconds...

 

Techno~

Zero doesn't really let me use my full power often so I'll make this fun! I located Bronshu and the 2 Mecha-noise I sended Zero the cordinates for Bronshu. I looked at the 2 Mecha-noise, "What!? Seriously!? Zero why don't you let me have my fun." I blasted a rectangle beam of electricity and 4/6 of the metal was shot off. "I'll have to make this last..." I make blades appear on the side of my cannons and flew in front of the noise and began to slash and slice them dead.... I was done I looked at my timer 2:13 and smiled, "New record!!" I shouted and then got rid of my flame and special cannons. Then headed towards Bronshu....

 

Skull/ Zero~

I got the data of Bronshu's location and ignited my black flame summoning my cannons...

"Do you know where Bronshu is, Skull?" I asked, weilding my blade again, yet this time....why was I hesitant to draw the blade?

"Yes, If you want I'll make a portal so you guys can help him. Techno is already on his way." I said pulling up a blue screen putting down the coordinates and a portal appeared behind me.

"I need to get Isaac...Auron, you can go on with out me. Thanks Skull." I said with a smile, letting go of Auron and dashed off in the direction of Isaac. I picked him up so I could run a bit faster. "Come on, Skull found Bronshu." I said, then dropping him as I arrived next to Auron again. "That was a little fast." I said with a laugh, holding onto Auron's sleeve again. Was I scared to fight someone?! This isn't me...

"No problem. I'll be there in 5 minutes." I said flying off reaching the area with the monsters and noise. The counter came back and I had timer on myself my lit would only last 4:35 seconds... I made a black orb and changed my cannons into a newer laser. I started with a large beam of pure darkness...

~Isaac~

Completely zoned out at first I was soon able to get it all out and I nodded to Sayo as soon as she decided to carry me over there. She suddenly dropped me and I fell flat on my back. I made a small grunt from the fall but still got up and brushed off dust and dirt. "Sayo...are you nervous?" I asked, noticing her grab Auron's sleeve. I guess I was kind of nervous too, but that was to be expected. Coming from Sayo...it just shows something's...off.

 

~Selim~

"So I suppose I'll take down the Noise..." I scoffed confidently. "Sayo-- or really anyone for that matter, if they kill Diasor that'll make me Game Master for tomorrow! Heh, I guess its time for a Reaper to win. If not...I suppose it's not all too bad to die again." I said to myself, still confidently, as I summoned my shadow and created dozens of stalagmites. I scrambled them all around rapidly for fun, killing off 37 Noise and 55 Mecha-Noise right off the bat. "Heh, this'll be fun." I said summoning a shadow blade at my side. That's all I'd use for this battle...more suspense and action. Overall...more fun.

"What—No. I'm okay don't worry." I said. Lies, lies, lies. I lie to much. Why was I afraid? Because. Oron is back, and this time inside ISAAC. I have to protect Auron, and if I fail, he won't trust me, then if he doesn't trust me then who will? Plus Skull, Im worried about him to. God…what the crap is wrong with me. I suddenly become nervous about fighting because my skills have been off since Noro died. There. That's what it wrong. I pretty much zoned out, which was uncommon, but I was lost in thought about whats going on...

I already killed 74 noise and 89 Mecha-Noise and had 3:25 seconds left. I noticed Selim killing off some too.

 

(Ughhhh short....)

Auron-

Ok. Sayo.... She was nervious... why she was so... mmmm maybe fear.. but fear to what? 

Mmm Ok we need to hurry! If not Bronshu will be in trouble... I suposse. Then i pulled out Tetsu´s blue orb placing onto Sayo´s hand. 

Think you can keep it for me? Maybe I´m not too strong but as long as you all are with me... I´ll keep trying. So Sayo... Trust in yourself... 

just like Tetsu believed in us. 

Oron

"AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"", I screamed as loud as I could so Isaac could hear me. "WE- WE'RE ALL DONE FOR!" I continued, breaking my long vow of silence as I clenched my head in my hands. "I have to get out of here now," I said, running towards the infinite darkness of Isaac's mind. This sinister presence could be that of only one person, truly a force to be reckoned with. "He- He's back!"

 

J

".........." This was J's silence as he entered the parallel world, the location of the Game. Everything around him looked so different than they had many years ago, and J couldn't help but to pity what the humans had done to their civilization. Oron had failed in his task in keeping the world in balance, and now he needed to pay- no, suffer for his actions. J gently rose up off the ground and elevated high into the sky, gazing over the city. Something felt incredibly unnatural to him and instantly drew his attention. J turned in that direction and began to descend quickly, landing gracefully behind a man distracted by the creatures known as the Noise. This man was Skull.
