As the title says, I'm planning on organizing a kh13 online gaming community hangout where we play some multiplayer games during the weekend.

 

I'm thinking on starting with Team Fortress 2 since it is now a free-to-play game which all of us can download and play together.

 

I will also livestream our match via Twitch.tv for kh13 members who just want to spectate while we kill each other.

 

Is anyone interested in it?

 

This is merely a test so that maybe in the future, we can organize more fun multiplayer games where we can have fun solely with kh13 members and it'll be our cool little gaming community.

Yes timezones are pain in the ass indeed.. It's one of the problems with sites like these. I will probably be playing one or two hours myself and I go to bed little bit more earlier to get some sleep before the event.

 

Also: this is pretty much just test for future events like this I presume

I'm very intrested to know: Why 2fort, it's like the most annoying map ever. I'm not sure even if you are being serious with your statement.

There isn't healt packs. Too much narrow corridores. The mid encourages too much on sniping. Engie nesting is too easy and flag is in ultimately hard spot. Rounds take like half of the day.

The health pack problem is countered by good medics, snipers are easily flushed out by rockets and pipes, playing spy is very easy on 2fort countering the engis. I can agree on the narrow corridors, round time, and flag location though.

 

Though 90% of all problems are solved by good medics. The team with just one decent medic will always beat the team with no medics.

Yeah, but you need good medic and it's rare to have even medic when playing in pub for some reason especially in 2fort. Medic is one of my most played classes, but I can't enjoy playing it if team has 4 sniper, 3 spies few scouts and engies.

Then spy, yes it's easy to take down one or two engies, but try 4-5 engies in that small intelligence room.

I probably wouldn't encounter these problems in more competive servers, but they really don't play 2fort there.

I will create the server 15 mins before we start so you guys can jump in. I'm going to repeat the details again:

We should probably just make group of 6 or something and just do some streams playing MvM.. then IF people are intrested we may put server up. I think that would work

I'm starting small with F2P games and if it's successful, I could've considered going to AAA multiplayer game titles. From there, we can go to console games and then to handheld games. That's how far I was thinking through. Bringing the community closer. Thanks anyway.

That is good idea aswell, I'm pretty sure that most of people (we have 5 or 6 anyways lol) in our Steam group has games like Left 4 Dead 2. We could do some stream from that and pretty much from any Co-op game. I'm pretty confident that people's intrest to attend on these would grow after some time.

Maybe we should post where everyone lives so that we can adjust the time so that it's good for everyone. I live in Toronto, Ontario so I'm in the eastern timezone
