Young Xehanort is in fact Riku's Heartless or nobody, But Riku never lost his heart I hear you cry... well he sort of did.. Well not him exactly but his replica from COM, we now know that a puppet can develop a heart and he seemed to have one. So after his death he would become a heartless and a nobody - With little memory of his past he lives on the destiny islands.. like Riku finding it like a prison, but unlike Riku he didn't have his friends so turned eeeeeeeeevvvvvvviiiiiiiiillllllllllllll. October 29, 201212 yr I know that KH loves to throw bizarre plot twists at us put I'm just going to take him at face value: Young Xehanort is Xehanort when he was young. There's not much to it than that.
October 29, 201212 yr young Xehanort is in fact, a Younger Xehanort. you might be confused because in BBS young riku mentions that someone once left the islands, but that's because Destiny Islands is where Xehanort is from as well, so it was a reference to him. I'll be honest I didn't read bast the first mention of Riku's name, cause I already knew the truth as to how it was explained in canon, but still...Also, play BBS and Dream Drop Distance, or watch the cutscenes, it explains it all...
October 29, 201212 yr The Riku Replica vanished. He didn't lose his heart to the darkness, he just disappeared. Like Xion after Roxas beat her, except he didn't become a part of Riku he just faded away.
October 29, 201212 yr No. Heart needs to be STOLEN by Heartless in order to become one. Become what? In Kingdom Hearts can everyone turn into a heartless, when they yield to the darkness in their heart. Yen Sid explained it in KH2.

If you die a regular death you do not form a heartless and a nobody...you are just dead ..For instance, if someone drowns and dies, they do NOT form a heartless and a nobody .They are just dead .

October 29, 201212 yr I meant heart needs to be stolen in order to become heartless. duh Still not true, When a heart yeilds to the darkness within it, the darkness incases the heart and becomes a heartless, which is why striking it with the keyblade releases the heart. When a Nobody is born they can only be born in a Between Realm like Twilight Town, Castle Oblivion, The World That Never Was, etc. Destiny Islands is not in the Realm Between, it's in the Realm of Light so automatically it's impossible for any Nobody to be born there. Also Nobodies look identical and have all the memories of their former selves, sans special occasions, so Nobody!Repliku should act and look the same as regular Repliku. Besides, even if by some bizarre off chance he was born on DI how did he even get to the past? When Repliku died he asked Riku what will happen to him and Riku said something along the lines of his heart going where ever his would go. Which I took to imply meant Kingdom Hearts where all hearts go when someone "dies".
