blake and ruby could go either way.

I'm going to join the RWBY people. I'll be "Raven", which is the fandom name for the badass who saved Yang and is at the end.

I wanna be Coco, but im sorry. THAT. SWORD.

EDIT: I'm gonna change my name once an official name is released.

Her name is Raven Branwen it's in the credits of the episode, you're welcome.

I gotta tell you guys, seeing RWBY on the bigscreen was amazing. when mercury killed tukson the sound of the gunshot was so loud I felt the shockwave in my chair. ( I was also in front row so I was right at the sound.)

Alright I wanna make a statement about the mysterious girl at the end.

Notice Raven's hair. It's spiky and doesn't seem like real hair. In fact, I assumed it was a headdress. Posted Image

Now look at it as she's taking off the mask.

Suddenly. . . It's Yang's curls? Impossible! She just had spiky hair, and as she's taking her mask off, it drastically changes to a curly hairstyle.

(You can see it better in the animation, if you want to refer to the episode.)

Next, Raven looks just like a Yang recolor. I doubt that they did that out of laziness, but if they really wanted to make Yang's mom, they'd at least make her look to be in her late 30s, early 40s, right?

Yang also gets red eyes when she hasn't been attacked yet, plus the whole "dreamy" landscape in the background makes it seem less and less real.

My theory: Yang is just having strange dreams. She might be jumping to conclusions, convincing herself that that has to be who she's looked for all this time. She's dreaming that that frightening looking person is related to her.

Idk, I want to believe that it's her mom right away. But from what I've learned in my history of plot twists, we can't jump to conclusions right away.

Like my dad always says, It never hurts to run around in circles when you know you'll reach the same truth!

This makes a lot of sense

Yang did see the back of that woman as she woke up

Considering the whole dream aspect you mentioned, it's very possible Yang is simply dreaming that this woman is her mother or related to her

Remember that Yang's mom left shortly after she was born, therefore she only has pictures to go off of what her mother looks like

As such those pictures are of her mother when she was younger, maybe even Yang's age

This along with the dream theory would explain why the woman looks so young and describes their resemblance, as her mother may have looked exactly like Yang just with black hair back in the day which is the only age Yang has seen her mother at

That being said I still think it's possible that Raven is Yang's mother, but this clip we've seen is most likely just a dream as you pointed out- this Yang model with black hair is not how Raven actually looks at present day , but simply how Yang imagines she looks based off the picture(s) of her mom

I definitely think you're on to something here; great observation

Problem:

Explain how a dream stopped Neo from killing her. That's my only problem with this theory.

I think she means the sequence that happened at the end of the credits was a dream by Yang and when Raven showed up to stop Neo on the train it was actually her

Problem:Explain how a dream stopped Neo from killing her. That's my only problem with this theory.

"Yang did see the back of that woman as she woke up"I didn't mean Raven was the dreamThat woman isn't a dream, Raven exists and Yang saw her back on the train as she leftHer appearance is the dream, as Yang's subconscious is projecting the visual of Yang's mother when she was younger onto RavenRaven exists, and I agree with Yang's theory that the clip we saw at the end of Volume 2 is just a dreamRevealing Raven's actual face this early on so shortly after she first appeared would kill the suspense of a character with a mask(An example of this suspense being the top half of Adam's face has remained a mystery for two Volumes now even though his first appearance in the actual show was in Episode 12 of Volume 2)So I believe the face we saw is merely a placeholder for now, as it's simply Yang projecting the image of her mother from the picture(s) she's seen of her onto Raven who she so desperately hopes is the woman she's spent her entire life searching for

lots of people on RT have commented about the dream/projection theory too.

did anyone see those or did you actually theorize this?

I only visit RT to watch RWBY and check out their storeI theorized all of this based off what Yang said

I wasn't there, but supposedly at NYCC one of the questions posed to Monty was, "Which one of the group would be most likely to go bad?"

His response was, "That will be too spoilery to say."

Even with Adam's reappearance and Torchwick's cliché "Join the dark side" proposition he posed to Blake in Episode 11 of Volume 2, I feel she's learned from her mistakes and isn't the one most likely to turn on her comrades

Despite having Blake betray Team RWBY this comic series is still pretty cool

I doubt she'd become bad, maybe fake something for Adam, but not go back there.

Ruby: You just went full white fang, Blake. You never go full white fang.

Now she's gone full White Fang

I'm so proud of her, Red.

5 lbs of dust from Cinder's closet says that's a dream.

If that's what you call a dream, I think it's safe to assume it's about to become a nightmare

Its like those doujins from comiket.

Sexy time, and last panel is a dream.

Ontopic, its MY dream to see kitty join me. I DO fancy myself some catgirls.

There's only sad time in these comics

Other than one Ice Flower moment, the author does a good job of keeping their crack pairings out of the series

Roman had all sorts of Faunus ladies working for him in Volume 2, then most of them died apparently- not a very promising position

i read a rubyxweiss and rubyxCRDL comic. meh.

they couldn't handle my sexy

There's other comics?

All I've seen is this series with about 15 chapters so far

If they're any good you should link me to these other serializations

Or their train crashed and the tunnel caved in on them followed by Grimm trampling them
