Okay, let's get straight to the point.

This isn't about me, maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

It's not big, I'm just confused that's all. I'd be real happy if any of you had an answer or an opinion :)

How to start...?

You see this girl, a friend of mine, you can call her Kairi if you want, we met around seventh grade. And ever since then, we were inseparable. We did everything together. We were like those typical sister-friends. Well, seventh grade went by and eighth grade rolled in. You see, Kairi, my friend did not attend school for about a month because she was away in Singapore or something. I missed her so much that when she came back, I was all about her. She even brought me a souvenir :<

And then for the next three months life went as normal. But I started to spend lesser time with my other friends.

Surprise ending:

Then this new girl came in, now Kairi is all about her. And well, she 'left' me. Every time I try to talk to her, she's like, off with the new kid.

Surprise ending cont:

I patched up eventually but... things just arent the same anymore. She seems... 'shallow' with me. HELP?

And now, for a bigger problem:

I wont be coming on to check frequently. I love you all, but T.T

Hmm. well I'm a guy, so my advice might not be very helpful. But, have you tried talking to her directly about it? That is the way I usually handle such problems.

Hmm. Well if your that close, Maybe ask Kairi if she wants to have a day just to do whatcha guys like doing the most, sometimes friends just need a little time, but it never helps to ask to have just some time with the two.

Try to find something the three of you have in common. if not you know take a try at something new, yeah maybe go to an amusement park and try a different ride together, or something as simple as a new movie that just came out.

I hope it helps a little.

I'm not the great adviser, but maybe you should talk to her. It's harder to say things than do, but I guess it's the only solution... I mean, the others would be kinda steal her back, but we're not in a TV show...

You can't stop your friends from hanging out with their other friends, especially if they're close, but that doesn't mean Kairi can just ditch you. It also doesn't mean she's completely abandoned you so much as directing more of her time to someone else for a change. If you're close with Kairi and she's close with that other girl, maybe you'll be close with her, too. Y'know, if A=B and B=C then A=C or something like that. Try arranging a get-together with all three of you, see if you can build some bridges so no one loses. If it turns out you and the other girl don't get along, try arranging designated days for Kairi to hang out with you so she won't be forced to choose between you two.

If you're that close with her then it's unlikely she'd ditch you just because she found another friend. If you spent a significant time together in the past, Kairi might be spending a lot of time with the other girl due to the novelty of hanging out with someone else for a change. I doubt your relationship with her has turned "shallow," as you said, because you two most likely know each other well already. Getting to know someone else takes time. Once she gets familiar with her new friend, the novelty will wear off and she'll become part of her daily "routine," just as you had with her.

I'm having a similar problem. :3 Hopefully I can help out some how.

I would suggest that you try to spend more time with Kairi and the new student. Befriend the new student, and get to know them.

Then, spend some time with "Kairi." Schedule an activity or something where the three of you can have fun and hang out. :3

I'LL MISS YOU SHERA! D8 *sobs*

It comes to that situation when you're so used to hanging out with your friend, that you've forgotten to mix with others.

You can always mix with her, but try to mix with your other friends more. Also hangout with that new girl so you guys can have a good time together. You won't be always be together with your friend forever, so try to make an effort to mix with others more.

Don't be worried. At least you're still friends and don't let it get to you so much.
