Ok, so this kid Jeff ( He's gay btw.) Wrote on this website for the school about bullying. This is what he wrote...

 

 

"I am in my last year of high school and there is this one kid at my school that is in my first five classes in a row. Every day when I walk in class, the first thing he says is, "Look, the gentleman has walked in." Sometimes I ignore it. Today, when I walked into my first period class, he said, "Jeffery, you’re a f*****, and you need to die." At first, I didn’t really care about it until he said it again my other four periods. The funny thing is that the teachers don’t hear him saying it. When I go to the teacher to tell them what he had said, they always ask, "Do you have proof that he called you that?" I say, "Yes, there are some kids around me that heard them say that." So the teacher calls the students up and asks them, and they said, "No, we didn't hear him say that." So I look like the liar, and I have no clue what to do. What should I do?

Okay.

1. I have no problem with gay people AT ALL. I love gay people so much

2. I NEVER said any of that stuff, and i never use the word "gentleman" its such a horrible word and makes me mad when people use it

3. Makes me mad  how he is lying to get sympathy.

This is making me out to be some tough bully who harasses gay people and makes me look Homophobic, and thats not me AT ALL. And that makes me mad seeing as how i never do anything to him, the worst i think i have ever said to him was "Go stop living" i do realize i shouldn't have said that, but it was because he wouldn't stop being annoying to me.

 

That's pretty much it, I just got really mad and had to vent

Maybe I'm just being silly and missing something, but where does it say your name? You can't know they're referring to you.

Are you sure you're the only one that's in all of his first five classes? I know a few different kids who are in multiple periods with me. For all you know, he may not like someone else you don't even know about.

I am 100% sure, hes always bitchy with me everyday, and my first 3 periods is one class, and i have no one else thats in that class in my next one.

Well, I don't mean to offend or discredit you in any way, but if he's always "bitchy" to you, most people would do the same thing back. So is it right to assume you've been mean back to him? Because then, whether he started it or not, technically you are engaging in reactive bullying, even though not harshly.

Perhaps he doesn't see it that way. Sometimes we don't always realize how much the things we say can hurt someone. Maybe it would be best if you just ignored him.

I try to ignore him, but since he is in 5 of my classes its sorda hard to, and hes really loud But the thing is, he lied about things i never did.

I get that, but if he thinks you're being an ass, even if you aren't being "as bad as he says" the best thing would probably to be just not talk to him. Just because he's in your classes doesn't mean you HAVE to interact with him. Unless the teacher decides to be a moron and pair two students who clearly dislike each other together in some kind of group project.

Honestly the only reason why you would believe he is referring to you is because you may be doing this or taking part in it in some way. 

 

If you feel like he is really making things up, you should talk to him (politely) about it and clarify who he is talking about and why. If you find out he is talking about you and that he is truly lying you should talk to a teacher or someone about it. 

 

When people make stuff up for sympathy, it's generally very vague. You match his description of the person allegedly bullying him. I'm not saying you are actually bullying him, but make sure you really think about your actions and how he may be interpreting them before feeling that you've been wronged. 

Sounds like he is just saying shit to get attention.
