Nah. And I would only if the English version didn't come.

    are PS3 games region coded? that could cause some difficulty here,,,,,

    The only PS3 game that is region locked despite the PS3 being region-free is Persona 4: Arena.

    because it's questionable whether there will be an international release at all....

    Well, it's really hard to get the japanese version since i am in america... plus i don't speak japanese yet... but one day i plan to get all the games, including the ones released in japan, but that could be a while away

    I'd like to support the series, but if Square can't justify localizing it then I can't really justify buying it. There's enough fans in places outside of Japan that this should have a NA and EU release, and frankly, I think those fans deserve it. Internationally people have been waiting for KH to return to consoles, and if the best we might get for the next few years is HD remixes then the least Square could do is give those folks the opportunity to buy it in their own country.

     

    Didn't mean to sound negative. Everything about 1.5 looks great so far. Here's hoping they bring it overseas!

    Sure, I'd get it in any way possible, knowing that even though I won't understand Japanese subtitles, I can still play the game with the English voice acting. The only thing keeping me from getting it is the money. I've only got enough to get a new PS3 since my four year old one broke this year (and then was taken apart by my brother... >.>).

    They were the same as the previously released editions, with just a bit more content. This is an entire HD remaster. And CoM was released in Europe, it was Re:CoM that wasn't, but I don't think Nomura had anything to do with that. :P

    so? these games included in 1.5 have been released here, but i.5 has potentially no additional content just upped-graphics and additional cutscenes. Sorry, I meant Re:COM wasn't released in Europe. That was COM moving from GBA to PS2.... there's every reason for Square Enix to follow the pattern and not release i.5 in Europe or maybe even the U.S. I'm not saying it won't happen as I WANT it to happen, but I won't hold my breath. We must also consider there has been no release date or hint at such for anywhere outside Japan.

    There was no confirmation of KH3D coming to the west either until a couple of months before its Japanese release.

    that's true, but that doesn't wipe away the trend of FMs not reaching us. plus 3D was NOT an FM or remaster. IT WAS THE NEXT GAME IN THE SERIES - CRUCIAL TO KHIII of course it was going to be released worldwide!

    KHHD is the next game in the series too, technically.

    Well, KHHD is a game, as it can be played. And it is the next KH game to be released unless that KH browser game comes out before it. Therefore, it is the next game in the series.
