rainbow_pocky 37 Posted January 3, 2013 For me Windows 8 is pretty annoying. While I love the speed, easiness, and versatility it can get pretty annoying at times. For example, the constant switching of screens (sometimes) when you are moving the mouse. Also, I don't like how spread out everything is and the "app" look up when you are typing (sometimes). Other than that Windows 8 is okay and I have no problems with viruses and stuff like that. *I have an Asus computer if you wanted to know 1 FireRubies1 reacted to this
Weiss 8,279 Posted January 3, 2013 It is terrible. Thank god I still have windows 7.
Spectrum of Life 188 Posted January 3, 2013 Haven't had much time to use it, but I didn't like what I got to try. The other panels and the interface don't really offer anything I would use on a regular basis, and the whole windows store mess leaves me wary of supporting it at all. Hei 3,233 Posted January 3, 2013 It's bad if you are a regular gamer, I mean...no Steam? COME ON MICROSOFT.

Tails 6,692 Posted January 3, 2013 From what i heard it's very terrible compared to Windows 7. Especially for gamers, hear there's no Steam on Windows 8, which is why I'm glad i still have windows 7.
AntonioKHT 449 Posted January 3, 2013 No idea, I don't have it! But it must be bad when it's about gaming, Windown 7 already had some problems, I could imagine
Think Pink 1,967 Posted January 3, 2013 My new laptop came with it. I can't stand windows 8. I don't even understand why they made it--the old version was fine. 1 FireRubies1 reacted to this

Sora96 17,256 Posted January 4, 2013 Have you used Windows 8 with a touch-screen? If you haven't you can not comment on it. Windows 8 is designed to be used with a touch-screen as this how a lot of things are going. Get used to it.
4Everbee 1,365 Posted January 4, 2013 Meh, I'm not a gamer, so it's pretty good for me. Annoying yes but not to bad.

Although Windows 8 was designed to be used with touch screen, they are making laptops (and other things that I have no knowledge of) with this feature and it is pretty annoying to those of us that have to use it. So yes, I can comment on it because I am an actual user of it.

You can't comment on Windows 8 until you use it with a touch-screen. If you use Windows 8 without a touch-screen It's kinda like watching a Blu-ray on an analogue or SDTV. rainbow_pocky 37 Posted January 4, 2013 Laptops with touch-screens? They've had those for awhile now. My point is not all laptops have touch-screens sooooo it's not my fault that I have a problem with Windows 8.
Think Pink 1,967 Posted January 4, 2013 Laptops with touch-screens? They've had those for awhile now. My laptop isn't a touch screen and it has Windows 8. It's awful If I somehow touch the keypad wrong, it'll pull something up and it won't go away. If I try to use the Internet explorer icon on their idea of a "Start menu", it takes you to this weirdly formatted version. It also screws up Skype and basically everything else. It might work okayish for touchscreens, but for their non-touchscreen laptops, it's annoying as heck, 1 rainbow_pocky reacted to this

Sora96 17,256 Posted January 4, 2013 It costs more to have a touch-screen, which is why they sell it without touch-screens. You could always change your current screen with a touch-screen if you wanted.
