SAO (Sword Art Online Roleplay)

It's been a month since SAO announced that the players were trapped inside. May walked along the town street, seeing people selling items everywhere.

"Gosh.... They're going to need some of this stuff..." May said knowing what was to come.

Not too long ago she was a beta tester for SAO, only reaching floor eight. This wasn't a large number considering there were 100 floors. It seemed so long ago. And they were still on floor 1. From behind someone grabbed her sheath and tried ripping out her sword.

"Nice sword you got here.... How much you want for it?" The strange man asked.

"Not for sale." May snapped at him, ripping the sheath from his hand.

"Well, I could always just take it." He said to her, tugging on it.

May drop kicked the man and started running, turning a strap corner and getting against the wall.

"Everyone wants this sword...." She said taking a deep breath and sitting on the ground.

(ALRIGHT! I'm pretty proud of this one. LEZ DO THIS.)

I walked on the roof of a town not wanting to be on ground level since many people would steal things. And I wouldn't want my level 34 scythe to be robbed... Since it was hard to get.....I did almost die at least in the yellow range. But I wouldn't expect there to be death traps in this game. I grabbed the bar of my scythe feeling the freezing temperature of it....then I thought again. I was the only one able to wield this scythe since you needed special gloves, I luckily got them at a random shop. I heard a foot step behind me I turned around three people were there...obviously bandits. "Hey player that's a nice scythe you have there." I glared at them grabbing the pole of my scythe again...

Haseo walked around the town on Floor 1 of the Castle known as Aincrad, trying to come up with a plan to take on the boss. "Hmm... I'll need a team. I can't take a boss on on my own... But who do I invite?" He asked himself, looking around at the people in town. None of them looked particularly strong. He'd spent the past in-game month training and buying more powerful equipment, and decided that enough time had been wasted staying at the town. He unsheathed his sword and looked at it. He thought back to his childhood. He had always wanted to be able to live in his fantasy games, and with the release of the Nervegear, it had finally come true. However, it wasn't quite what he expected... He put his sword back to avoid drawing attention from thieves. He'd even heard that there were PKs running around. Didn't want to run into one of those guys. He continued strolling around town to find someone to ask to join him in his mission to free the other players...

"I don't have time for you." I thought as I ducked down and knocked them off their feet. They obviously got mad, "You little-" One got up and tried punching me I swiftly dodged him. Then started running I had better things to do...plus there was an announcement that they found the floor 1 boss... I wanted to go but...the scythe I had was a weapon that was overpowered for floor one... I was lucky enough that I lived through it.... However the three people kept following me I started going up the bell tower. And reached the top....

"Why am I still here..?" I murmured, sitting down within a very calm marketplace. I sighed, looking up into the sky. Above, were the many levels of Aincrad; the world that this game, Sword Art Online, was placed in.

It's been so long...and here I am, lazily sitting around. I should be on the higher levels, helping out. But nope, here I am, a level 30...hanging out in the first level of this game. I sighed, hefting my massive sword. To my stats, it wasn't all too heavy, but it sure did look so. I flicked back my white hair, standing up.

"I might as well as do something..." I murmured, walking off.

Kaori sat in a field near the town. She looked around, she still couldn't believe it was a game, and she was stuck in it. She stood up an walked toward the town. As a solo played she had many advantages. She knew that soon enough she needed to form a group. She arrived at the town and saw bunches of people selling and buying things. She sat on a bench and heard the announcement about finding the boss. She thought maybe she could help but doubted she'd survive at such a low level.

Crystal jogged around Aincrad tired from training for hours as she went to the stands gathering supples. 'All right, I'll just buy a couple of things I need then I'll head right back to my training spot before anyone takes it.' She thought. It's been a month since everyone got trapped inside the game and Crystal had been training like crazy ever since. 'Am I strong enough to battle the first floor boss now? I mean I'm level 31 right now. Or should I ask other people to help?' She sighed in frustration as Crystal continued to look for supplies.

Oh! More people were coming in! This was interesting...Yukio has been here for a while, and decided to run a shop. So Taada! That is where 'Yui's Goods' comes in! This way Yukio could have a way to get stuff and get another weapon instead of the boring old dagger.

She had a couple more people working with her...sure the shop was named after her, but that doesn't mean she stays there the enitre time.

"Yui's Goods! Come and get stuff for your adventures!" Yukio yelled, avertising...well at least trying too...

Haseo heard that the Floor 1 boss had been found. "Sweet! I've just gotta convince those guys to party up with me!" He shouted, and ran off in a random direction before coming to a realization: "Uhh... where's the team that's taking it on?" He asked aloud, realizing he probably looked like an idiot. Not that that was any new to him. He rushed into things all the time... He'd come to the decision that he'd die trying to free the others if necessary, but that didn't mean that he should rush straight into a life-threatening situation. "Maybe I should look around for someone who knows!" He ran back to the center of town to ask around for anyone that knew, or even potential party members. Who knows, he might have even been able to start a guild if he got enough people with him!

The three bandits were going to reach me any second it was a high jump. I looked down and sighed, "The things idiots make me do." I was gone from the bell tower and watched the ground get closer. Closer and closer until I made a small crater... I got up limping and shook it off. This was going to last...

As he ran near the bell tower, Haseo heard a loud "THUD" sound nearby. He noticed another player walk out of a crater... How did that happen? He silently asked, then ran over to the player. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked him. "I'm sure I've got an extra potion somewhere that I can give you..." Haseo held a potion out to the user. There was nothing he hated more than seeing new names crossed out on the player list stone.

I walked through the market, generally ignoring people.

This isn't like me...what happened to ol' 'fiery Sian' that everyone spoke of? I thought. Eventually, I passed by a store, and the merchant began shouting about 'Yui's Goods.' I came to the conclusion that 'Yui' was the shop owner. I neared the shop, looking at the wares.

"Hey." I said, casually greeting the shopkeeper.

CecRe's battled grunts trying to get over the levwl 12. "This is so boring~" She whined boredly.

"This was going to be fun!" She cried as her level changed to 13.

"Gah!" She shouted angred with herself and she went to go find an item shop.

After not to long she got back to the market. "Oh finally!" She cried!

Grant was walking towards the starting town. He had spent all day searching for evildoers, but of course no one would be silly enough to actually try and kill someone off this early into the game. So essentially, he has waltzed around the first floor like a complete moron. Now he was tired so he went to the town in hope of finding something to do. When he arrived at the market, all he saw was countless people trying to sell stuff, other people running around all confusing, and also people jumping down from bell towers. "Sighhh... Is there really nothing to do out here?" he said to himself. He found a nearby bench and decided to rest for a bit. He fell asleep almost instantly after sitting down.

Yukio was never that good with shops, so she is trying to be nice, at least to this person. It was rather odd, a 15 year old girl running a shop with only two other people who she didn't even know helping her.

"Hello....these are just some things I've found, and other people have handed me in the past 30 days. Oh...are you someone who is trapped as well? There are a lot of people trapped, including me. I'm sorry...I should'nt be asking this...um...just see if there is something you would like." Yui said, embarrassed a bit, sitting down on her small chair. There was some cool stones, stuff to get your HP back up, different kinds of cloth, some sword cases, and some compasses...but who would need those when you already have a map?

"I am Yui by the way...that is just my in-game name." she explained.

I looked at the player who offered a potion, I looked at my health bar only a quarter was gone. "I'm fine thank you." I looked back up and saw the bandits looking down at me laughing. One even threw down a small knife at me, I however kicked it up and back at them hitting the bell. I put my hand on my leg, I was lucky enough this wasn't it real life but seriously I'm trapped inside a game with murders. I personally didn't want to kill but at times I would have to.

May got back up, peaking around the corner.

"He's gone." She said coming out from behind the corner.

Walking down the street she heard a girl advertising and others too. She continued walking when she saw a guy asleep on a bench.

"Someone's gonna steal his stuff." She giggled. "Sir....? Hey you're probably gonna wanna wake up. This isn't the best place to sleep."

Laughing she started walking again.

I nodded to the girl. I smiled gently, looking at her wares.

"There's not much of a reason to ask 'are you trapped here as well?', when every player is stuck here." I said, still smiling. I wasn't trying to be rude, just trying to make some small talk.

"Well, uh...hrm." I looked at her items some more, rubbing my chin. "Sorry, give me a moment..." I muttered, looking back at my sword. Does it need a sheath..? I thought, looking back to Yui. "Do you have sheath that fits this?" I asked, pulling out my large sword.

"Ah–um....maybe....possibly. Give me a second." Yukio sighed, standing up and searching through a whole bunch of sheaths.

She finally found one that could possibly work for him.

"Will this do? It's the only one I could find....usually people come in here with daggers and...smaller swords. But don't worry. I found one, so we shouldn't really be complaining about that now. Hopefully it will work." She explained, placing it on the small wooden table.

It was a brown, leather sheath that looked collectible. She found it along with a sword one day, not so long ago, walking on the road at that.

Yui wasn't so sure what to say, so she just kept her mouth shut, waiting for an answer.

CecRe's kept walking thought town in till she saw a store. It being the frist one she saw she walked right in. "Yo." She called to a girl.

"The owner of the shop...maybe?" She thought to herself as she saw a guy. "Sain?" She question and looked about the guy.

"Nice build~" She thought to herself and blushed ever so slightly.

To keep him from noticing to turned her face to the shopkeeper. "Hey~" She said in a cool kind of way.

'Now that somebody found where the first floor boss is, somebody is going to have to gather a group to defeat it. The faster, the better.' Crystal bit her lip. She wondered what her family are doing right now, crying over her bed? Or waiting patiently for her to wake up? Crystal gripped on her katana, she always felt better just holding it like she could slice her problems away. Suddenly out of the corner of her eye she spotted a man staring at her katana. Crystal walked up to the man and put her hands to her hips. "Excuse me, but I suggest you keep your eye balls away from my katana or you'll find your eye balls ripped out." She gave him a glare until the man muttered "Sorry" before dashing away.

Sini walked through town. He didn't particularly like being down there, considering he had no reason to be there, and a lot of bandits were hanging around. He gripped his bladed staff. There was no way to sheath or otherwise hide it, so keeping it in his hands was the next best thing. Right about now though, he needed to get a group going to beat down that boss. He spotted a girl giving a much larger and seemingly stronger man a demon glare and chasing him away (Crystal). 'She'd be perfect for a teammate.' he thought to himself. Sini walked over to her and cleared his throat. "Miss, would you be interested in possibly joining me to attempt to take out the boss recently found?" he asked, politely and clearly.

"Alright then..." Haseo sighed. "Hey, you look pretty tough. Would you mind helping me take on this floor's boss? I'm Haseo, by the way." He introduced himself. "I'm looking for a team to go and win this game."

"Sure, I was thinking of fighting the boss myself but fighting with a group seems to be a safer idea." Crystal replied. She usually don't trust strangers but the look on Sini's face tells that he's serious about taking the boss down.

"I was thinking of going too. Alright then I'll join you, my name is Blizzard. But you can call me Bliz if you want." I said looking at the tower... "Enough people have died from this Game of Death... Someone needs to beat it..." I thought to myself and then said, "Shall we go?"

"Nice to meet you, Bliz. Heh, I agree. I'm in it to stop innocent deaths. Before we go though... Think we'll need any more people? Or would two be enough to take it on?" Haseo asked Bliz.
