Well, today I went to Wal-Mart and me and my sis decided to pick up some Pokemon cards for shits and giggles, and I wasn't too upset w/ what I got..

Not the best cards in the world, but definitely not the worst for my first 3 booster packs. We ended up spending like $20 each on cards books and booster packs.

 

Anyone else on here collect Pokemon Cards or play the TCG?

I'll probably just keep to collecting, I don't feel like losing to someone in a battle & having to part w/ one of my cards. Seems stupid tbh, but unfortunately that's how most card games work..

not how ours work...  you can decide if you want to do that or not.  I didn't think people did that anymore, honestly.

It's a must during tournaments, but ya w/ friends it rly just depends how much you really wanna be the very best. lol

 

But ya, I still would rather collect than play. Seems more my cup o' tea.

I just collect, since I don't know how to play. I haven't baught any gen 5 cards. When I was a kid I got a holographic Articuno.
