So, as you know this year's E3 event is coming out and as you've noticed time is going by quite fast. Which is why I decided to make this topic now even though this year's E3 isn't for another 5 months. So anyway, as the title says. What are your expectations for this year's E3 event? ANy games or consoles you hope to see get announced?

 

I must say I am looking forward to this year's E3 and i have a feeling that it will be much better than last year's E3 event. I'm mostly excited for Nintendo and Sony's E3 conferences. Sony because they might announce some good games for the PS3 that could "wow" people. Nintendo because so far they confirmed that a new Mario kart, 3D Mario title, and new screenshots of the upcoming Smash bros. will be shown at E3 this year. I'm also expecting Nintendo to talk more about the new Zelda 3DS title they've been working on. I am just itching to see what the new game is. And I'm also hoping they will talk more about Pokemon X/Y too.

I hope we don't have to wait till then for a KHHD NA announcement.

 

I would like more news on Versus. And of course, Pokemon X/Y. Like the evolution of the starters among other new Pokemon for example.

 

Let's see given the past games i thing we can expect

A rodent

An elemental rodent (ie Pikachu, Merill ect)

A Bird

A rival Bug duo

A cat 

A dog

A Legendary trio. (not mascots)

And a Mythical Pokemon

 

Most of these have been in almost every generation,

I doubt we'll wait that long. Nomura said that he wants the releases between the English and japanese versions of KH games to be close to each other. So i expect an announcement to be made on the English version close to when the JPN version is released.

I'm pretty sure it'll get announced in March or so for NA I was just talking about general news even if it's tiny.

Wanting to find out a KHHD release date (or at least a month), new PS3 games that AREN'T repetitive shooters and actually have a decent storyline going for them, and news on Zelda 3DS. Wii U already has two announced title for it (one being the WW remake), so the 3DS deserves an entirely new Zelda game too, not just remakes... Although it probably is gonna be a remake of MM or something. I wouldn't mind that, I just want something new for it.

The release of KHHD The new Playstation announcement, Microsoft's new console. Maybe The appearance of the Ouya (Backed the limited edition on kickstarter) as well as a whole lot of games to show, really hoping Nvidia and steam show off their consoles, well if anything steam release info on the steam box not the pistin

Really? Last I heard Nomura wasn't even mentioning  the possibility an international release of KHHD.  Can you link? I hate missing KH news.

 

Oh and for those hoping for an announcement/ news on it, remember E3 is in 5 months. That's July, the month most people expect the actual release. If it's we get news or a localization announcement at E3 it probably wont be released 'till September at the earliest. Do you really want to have to wait that long?

I expect to hear about all the Wii U stuff: so mario 3d platformer, mario kart, yarn yoshi, wind waker hd, smash bros 4. So wii u should have a pretty strong software showing just from those, plus anything else.

 

3DS: POKEMON!!!!!!!!!! haha plus i think we will hear about Zelda 3DS,  and any other games for the remainder of 2013/ early 2014 that we havent heard about yet.

 

PS3/PS4: Hopefully KHHD will already be announced for localization (officially) at this point, so not much new for KH, maybe a demo of the english version as I expect it will release in late june or early july. Um, hopefully Versus info if none is already out. Lightning returns. Other assorted PS3 games. Some PS4 software as well as some minor hardware changes from the announcement in a week and a half.

 

XBOX:  720 info if none is out already. I'm honestly not much of an xbox fan so I don't really expect much. and from the rumors, the 720 hardware is similar (though not quite as powerful) to the ps4, but the operating system and how it utilizes the hardware is supposedly creating a lot of issues for developers compared to the ps4.

 

Thats pretty much it. I just want more 3ds games and ps3 right now, since i dont have a wii u yet, and i wont get a ps4 for a few years so the price will drop.

Hmm, I wonder about that Nomura quote now. If 1.5 has already been covered well by that time, 2.5 news wouldn't hurt.

As a huge Nintendo fan I would love:

-New LoZ info for both the Wii U and the promised 3DS title along with a footage and more info of Wind Waker HD

-New X/Y footage with a few Pokemon being revealed. Maybe a Colosseum/XD/Stadium sequel for the Wii U

-Some unannounced games' footage (They already said there are two)

-Info on Monolith Soft's new game

-The new 3D Mario and Mario Kart 8 footage info

-SSB4 info and footage

-Info on Retro's project

-Flipnote Memo re-announcement

 

To be more realistic, this will probably happen:

Iwata: We're announcing all of the above... in a future Nintendo Direct next year!

Crowd: Boo...

Iwata: But have no fear, we have a surprise announcement!

Crowd: *hype builds up*

Iwata: *unveils the next 3DS revision and shows a Wii U price cut on the huge screen*
