hey guys, I know we haven't posted progress in a while. Everyone has
been really busy with life and all i guess. Anyway, I had some free time
so i decided to work on kiaru. I'm almost done with the textures. just
remains a few minor tweaks here and there. i also have to fix his hair
and redo some part of the hair textures. anyway, here is a pic of my
progress. I'll probably rig him and throw him into the game engine later
this week. and hopefully have game play to show later in the month. ^^

If you ever need my help, I might be able to contribute some story elements. Granted, I'm not exactly the best writer, and I've only just started writing actual stories, but I do have quite a creative mind.

I have no skills to bring to the table but this sounds like and interesting idea!

I would totally help if I had ay skill sets. unfortunately I do not. But make sure that you let people know if this ever gets up and running. I sounds fantastic.

first of all, my name is chuks and i just recently joined the forums . i was thinking that it would actually be cool if there was an actual working kingdom hearts fan game. so i was thinking maybe we could actually come together to make it a reality.

I have no skills, well besides recon due to mentioning the other game. I thought I was fairly decent writer, as I intended to help with a Kh abridged series but that fell through. I have no stories uploaded on here though. Even though I don't have a story that relates to the concept writing for it could be fun, if you don't have anyone else with credentials that is.

I intentionally didnt want them to appear in the game but we can probably have like 3 to 5 characters appear in the game to serve as fan service. we can come together and vote for the ones who whould appear. After that is done we can then come up with concepts and their new look.

How did you make that model on your first post chuksxy?

i made the model in blender which is a free 3d modelling app. i've been learning 3d modelling in my leisure time for over a year and a half so i've gotten pretty good at it. i made the model using the box modelling technique in blender, baked AO to give me some nice shades and painted the textures using my intuos tablet in Photoshop.

 

@Mr. Mancer that would be great. Maybe we can finally make progress.

@Mr. Mancer i originally wanted the Academy to be located somewhere in the land of departure but not the original building where ven, Terra and aqua trained. but feel free to decide by yourself. after all it's a group project ^_^

While I was typing this I hit the back button and lost everything I had written, so if you want my reasoning just ask and I might feel like typing it again. If not here's my vote for who should return. If it's 3: Lea, Aqua, and Riku. If it's 5: Lea, Aqua, Riku, Sora, and Kairi.

I didn't go with who my favorites were, as I'd prefer Roxas over Riku but I might explain that next time. My point is, unless you want to program multiple fighting styles it might be easier to stick with keyblade wielders for now.

You should consider editing your first list of requirements or ask a mod to delete it if this is the one that is most up-to-date. I still included mine just in case above. By guy and girl, if you mean as a couple I'd go with Sora and Kairi. If I remember correctly Roxas has a hate club, and I don't want to go looking for each characters hate clubs for now so yeah just going off old info.
