I just thought of something. Nomura said he planned to release a KH game every year. Some people thought that this would end with 3D but it hasn't. With KH1.5 releasing this year and KH2.5 likely releasing next year, and without any real proof that BbSv2 will wind up actually being a game and not told some other way, it's possible that KHPC may come out some time in 2015 unless KH3 is ready by then. This is not to say anything is definite but I was wondering if any of you thought this may happen.

I think it will be the 2014 release and KH2.5 will be the 2015 if KH3 is not done by then.

I always just imagined it would come out along with one of the big games (like the same year, not much of a time gap) because I just feel like this one will actually be a small little side game. But maybe they'll include it in their one game a year thing.

 

It's kinda sad they announced KHPC but then we didn't get that much info about it after that, well we did get some info but not much. I feel like sometimes it's forgotten D:

Possibly. KH HD 1.5 Remix releases this year, KH HD 2.5 Remix releases next year (hopefully), and KH3 might release 2016 so that leaves 2015 blank and unmarked. You could be right, but remember that it is in production with a Korean studio and they have their own schedule.

Yeah, I think its more likely that it will be done before kh2.5. It doesn't seem like it will be that big an undertaking.

I think KHPC will be out by the end of 2013 or early 2014. You have to remember that pre-orders of HD 1.5 in japan come with some sort of promotional code for KHPC. If they delayed it to 2015, most people will have forgotten about that or even lost it. I just feel like that would be silly to include in the HD collection if people wouldnt be able to use it in a MAX of a years time.

 

They also said it really had nothing to do plot-wise with the current KH story, so I don't think it will count as a part of the "Game a year" plan

I was not aware of that. It may not be part of the current story line but it does have a connection to it because given the "world of a distant fairy tale" line in the description it seems to take place during the Keyblade War which is Xehanorts motivation for starting this whole mess.

Well, it obviously takes place in the world of kingdom hearts and part of it was shown in wonderland. But i'm pretty sure it won't include any main characters form the current story. (Don't take this as fact, haha i could be wrong, it was awhile ago when it was announced)

Most likely after KH2.5 and before FFvs.13. That's just my guess though.
