So, there's this girl in my class whose presence alone causes me to smile. Of course, being the "go to it" person I am, I confessed my love to her only to get rejected because of a guy a year ahead of us who she's going out with. Which labels me with some idiocy as to not have looked into that. She doesn't hate me as far as I know, and I don't really see her very much if at all most days because of schedule changes with the new semester. My resolve is to wait this guy out confess to her again later. Is it worth it? What do you all have to say?

You shouldn't peg your love on one person especially when they're already in a relationship, it'd be a waste of your time and ultimately depress you to pine after her until she's single, if she liked you and wanted to be with you she would have dumped this guy to start a relationship with you, so you'd just be a back up.

Move on, if they break up and you still find yourself having feelings then try to hang out with her, but don't sit and wait for them to end.

<Waited six years for one girl.<Got together<Broke up only one month later<Wasn't worth waiting.<Hasn't found love yet

No girl is worth waiting for. Search for other girls and if by fate or chance you two arent in a relationship at the same time.....go for it.

To be honest, I really don't think she's worth waiting for. Wouldn't you be happier going off and finding love rather than waiting around for her? What if she doesn't break up or just doesn't like you that way? It's really not worth investing into something that has very little chance of paying off.

Love is a very strange, hard thing. If you really love her, and strongly believe you guys belong together, Wait.

I'd say whatever will be will be, but if you don't mind having your heart broken go for it.

No no no no no do not wait for her. But don't go deliberately looking for a replacement either. Being single is cool. Talk to other girls and relax, just don't feel pressured to find someone until the time is right.
