Favorite moments in old animated flims

Posted

You have to admit that some of those older animated films are beautifully cheesy.

Legolas' "durr hurr" face, for example, gets me every single time in the 1978 Lord of the Rings. (Or just the whole thing)

Don't get me wrong, I still love them, and they are beautiful.

I just appreciate them for their ridiculousness, too.

So do you have any favorite examples of older animated films that make you laugh?

Holy shit, the way they run is actually really firetrucking funny, and i'm laughing so hard right now.

Not sure if this counts but Finding Nemo: "Fish are friends, not food"

Just today realized it was like drug rehab

Yeah, the running, too.  Go Aragorn!  The first time he showed up freaked me out really bad, 'cause he was wearing a loin cloth, and that isn't how I had imagined him.  xD

When Sakura discovers Yukito is Yue.

EDIT: I just realized that's not a film...

This scene from 'The Little Mermaid' which someone also turned into a 'in 5 seconds video'

I laughed at it more than I should have

The Snowball fight in Beauty and the Beast comes to mind.

They killed Fritz!

The movie is Wizards. Frankly, it's not really that great (and in many cases, it's pretty bad), but I always kind of liked it.

Also, all of The Secret of NIMH.
