That's right... I'm looking for something someone stated Nomura had said, and I came across an interview that quotes Nomura saying Days was supposed to be playable. Here's the quote:

"At first I thought about fully remaking Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (hereafter Days) in a form you could actually play." He later goes on to say it would've taken a year alone to port it.

I would love to replay it in hd and all new rendering, but I would rather have it sooner than wait another year. Plus now my dream of a KH movie is basically real

I feel the same way. I would love Days in HD, especially since I never got around to beating it... or past the first 30 minutes hahaha. But it's not worth a whole year of waiting. The cutscenes are pretty much the important parts once you think about it

This 358/2 Days Theatre is not a movie. It is just like a Theatre Mode except you've already unlocked it and you get trophies just for watching them.

And im not wrong, IT IS. its the 25 or so original cutscenes plus the rest of the story put into cutscenes that come out to being between 2 1/2 and 3 hours long. They are also in a format where you can watch them straight through (like a movie) or you can choose individual scenes (like on a dvd). yes it is unlocked at the beginning. Yes it is in "theater mode" but that doesnt change the fact that it's nearly 3 hours long and is supposed be more connected like a movie.

It's exactly the same for all Theatre Modes. Heck the KH cutscene DVDs I have are pretty much the same.

i have no idea what you mean by KH cutscene DVD's but yeah the format of the theater is gonna be the same but there is A TON OF NEW cutscenes that make it almost 3 hours. = the length of a movie

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix's Theatre Mode is longer than that.

Yet his games are chock full of cutscenes hahaha. That's amazing

Especially when you lose to a boss and have to sit through 3 minutes of cutscenes everytime... Maleficent.

it is not only the events with little quote boxes. It's also other story stuff from levels and actual gameplay. otherwise it would be a pretty empty story. and of course KH2 has more. it was made with cutscenes originally. Days was for DS, the fact that it had 25 good cutscenes was impressive enough. 

I am totally disappointed that 358/2 days are just cutscenes, I am and I always will be, no matter how excited I am for the new cutscenes.It just sucks it's not playable
