OK guys, seriously, have I actually found a game that no one else here plays? I did a google search and there have been like... hardly any threads for it. I'd think since the trilogy collection that people would be more into it. Geesh.
Anyway... they're amazing. I only just started 3, so no spoilers please. Please. But the depth and scope of these games is just breathtaking. It's one of the few games I've played where it feels like something special. The choices you have to make, and the consequences you have to live with... it hurts so good.
I saved Ashley on Virmire. I never regret his absence, but I regret having to choose. The game puts blood on your hands... and if you're incompetent, even more blood in Mass Effect 2. Mordin Solus was killed in the Suicide Mission for me. I feel guilty about that. Real guilty.
No other game makes you feel guilty. Because the choices aren't really yours.

Anyway... I guess I'm alone here.
