I'm sure many people already know how to do this by now but,have you evolved Pikachu into Raichu in Pokemon Yellow????

 

 

I know everyone already know this but it's easy.

 

Just trade it to RedBlue then trade it back to Pokemon Yellow and the game will read it as a Normal Pikachu and it won't follow you or say "Pika" anymore.Then you can normally use a thunderstone and evolve it into a Raichu inside Pokemon Yellow.

 

Fun fact: My Pikachu was lv 100 when I evolved it into Raichu

I actually have been playing Pokemon Yellow, but I think I'm gonna just trade in a Raichu from pokemon R/B so I can keep my walking Piikachu... so I don't get all lonely in the overworld.

I have done it once, but found it more fun to actually keep the original one on yellow and trade over 5 more pikachus for the Thunder Team! My original follows me still and leads the others

Thought you said Pokemon Y, so I was about to post "the game`s not out, yet!"

Nah, I didn't really see the point; I just kept my Pikachu.  

I had blue version, but on my brother's yellow version I convinced him that if he gave his pikachu the thunderstone a raichu would start following him around, turns out that wasn't the case, so he started a new game, just so he could have pikachu following him around again haha. 

Why would you even evolve that Pikachu O.o
