Will we see another Kingdom hearts HD remix game after this one?

Posted

In my opinion I think we will se another Kingdom hearts HD remix game. I think it also depends on how well the success of the 1.5 does. If so, I want to see kingdom hearts 2 FM, Re: Coded, and Birth By sleep. I hope it will be on the Ps3 or maybe on the Ps4.

As Nomura said it'd be unlikely if we didn't.

---In any case, does putting “1.5” in the title mean there will be a “2.5”?

Nomura: If there wasn’t a “2.5” after this, it would be pretty unnatural (laughs).

Yeah probably and what Weiss said! ^_^

Well, Nomura has everything set up, but sees that it's not gonna be easy for newcomers to catch up, so might as well make a collection series till everyone is up to speed. In the meantime he will be underground getting KH3 set up.

KH HD2.5 Remix will be on Ps3 (unconfirmed, but we know that will happen), and KH3 will be set for either:

multiple systems (unlikely)

Ps3 only (seems legit)

Ps4 (Nomura logic at work)

Ps3 AND Ps4 (both having equal benefits, but Ps4 version will be higher quality,)

I believe Nomura will release KH3 for Ps3 and Ps4. it makes since.

It's going to happen. It'll be on PS3. Pretty sure it will have both the Final mixes of BBS and KH2. It's possible that they would put in RE: Coded and DDD in as movies. (Not for sure about DDD) Because Namura said he wanted all of the titles on one console.

I garuntee were gonna see KH2.5 sometime around E3 or TGS

I actually think it would make sense for it to be on PS4 because the PS4 is easier to make games for then the PS3.

A HD remaster for Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix has been all-but-confirmed by Nomura. They won't develop Kingdom Hearts III for the PlayStation 3 now. Because it would be released at the end of the console's life cycle as they will begin development on Kingdom Hearts III after the PlayStation 4 is released. The PlayStation 4 will have the same resolution and quality as the PlayStation 3. 1920 x 1080. Audio quality will however be higher with Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD 7.1 used commonly.

Imagine Cavern Of Remembrance in HD!  :D

Yeah but think about it, if Nomura releases all collections for Ps3, and finishes the saga on Ps4, people will have to pour 300-400 dollars just for that one game, and will would have to re-buy (not sure if this is confirmed, i know we cant play physical Ps3 discs on the ps4) all collections in digital form to play Ps3 collections on Ps4.

it would make sense to finishing the series on the Ps3, but he can put it on the Ps4.

I would like to see KH3 released for Ps3 and Ps4.

Then again, it's simply a cry on deaf ears.... But i'm sticking with my opinion.

It would be stupid to develop a major, long awaited title on an old console one that's successor is already available.Maybe if it were a First-Party title it might do well on both. But as third party title, it wouldn't be a success on a dying console.

Well Nomura did basically say that there will be a 2.5 coming out after this one at some point but as for what console it will be on and what it will involve will have to wait for time to tell for that one.

Well by the time KHIII comes out the PS3 will be at the end of the systems life so it would be silly to put it on there. I know there is something about playing PS3 games on the cloud system but they haven't really said how yet. People wouldn't be buying the system just to play KHIII. That would be dumb. There will be other games on the system. :P

True, but there are some great games on Ps3 that I rather buy for less money than paying retail in digital form.

if there is a way to put Ps3 games that people buy on cloud, by all means I will say "Screw Ps3, I take Ps4!"

it would be more stupid to put kh3 on the ps4 because why have all the games on one system and then finish the saga on another system to make so many people spend so much money just to play the last game of the series

Like I said on my first post on this topic. NOMURA LOGIC

it would be more stupid to put kh3 on the ps4 because why have all the games on one system and then finish the saga on another system to make so many people spend so much money just to play the last game of the series

And that is why I see this being a high possibility if it's for the ps4

As Nomura said it'd be unlikely if we didn't.

Somehow when Nomura laughs like that I get the feeling he would enjoy how awkward not releasing a 2.5 remix would be >.>

What are you talking about? Of course they'll make the next HD ReMIX!

Um....no?

I agree, by 2015 or 2016(KH III hopefully will come out by those years) the PS3 will be near death or already dead. Im getting a PS4 as soon as the price drops to 300-200.

Everytime I see this question I picture Nomura in his office, saying to himself, "Yeah, 1.5 should be enough. There's not a whole lot of relevant plot in the other titles anyway, especially not KHII or BBS. 358/2 Days should be enough to get people caught up on the series."

There will certainly be a KH 2.5, don't worry about it.
