I was just minding my own business watching Jwittz Pokemon videos.....until this video poped out of no where in the list of recommended videos.............That reminds me back when I played Pokemon Gold for the first time

 

 

Whitney's Miltank defeated my entire team 4 TIMES IN A ROW ....Believe me once she flinch you with Stomp and Rollout your entire team.....you're done.

 

 

The only way I managed to beat her was to make my Ghastly learn hypnosis and then beat her with my Machop.

 

 

Anyway,If someone has experienced similar nightmares with this fatass cow.....feel free to tell your story

I'm replaying SlulSilver, and lets be glad that I love owls, because if it weren't for Hoothoot's Hypnosis, along repetitive sand attacks. It became a PP draining war thingy

I meant your first time against her not after grinding or after becoming a pro

I was six years old (I think) and my friend gave me pokémon silver to play for a while. Leveling pokémon equally and element advantages were things I didn't know of. I leveled my quilava to lv 27 before I finally won, and since then, my quilava/typhlosion overwhelmed everything.

I found her hard my first time through but after that it got easier.

Really? Am I the only one that did it on the first try because I was over-levelled and kind of predicted it as we never had a gym like that...

Well most of us were kids when we played GoldSilver on the Gameboy back in 2000 and 2001.I never expected that she'll stomp me and flinch my team or use attract against my male Pokemon(And guess what....most of my Pokemon were males so you can guess what happened)

 

Dude even in the anime Miltank couldn't stop trolling me

 

 

But y;know what??? It's one of the most satisfying moments in my childhood when I defeated her Miltank and she bursted in tears before giving me the badge.

That firetrucking son of a b**** gave me nightmares for days. Never thought I woul dfinish Silver

But I did and I threw the biggest one person party :D

1 word.... Quilava.....

He was my strongest, yet he kept fainting to rollout. (Huge Type Disadvantage). if I ever get Heartgold, I'm gonna use quilava and start catching pokemon efficiently.

 

She hardly used attract.

Actually the first time I faced her (I was 7) I didn't have difficulties (From what I remember)

 

When I was 12 and replayed the game, I had serious difficulties against her.

 

Now she's just too easy

When I was a kid back in GSC, she wasn't that hard. I can see though why people have trouble with her.

 

HGSS? Easy. Now here I don't get why she's hard when you have so many options compared to GSC.

In HGSS it's not hard(except for those who didn't play GSC before)

I feel ya. First time I played I was one of those people that was like "Starter pokemon always wins!!" And didint really bother leveling that much at the beginning. She destroyed me plenty times. And I did have to go out and grind a while.

I said all of them are males

 

I've switched and I always get hit by one of three things

 

1A stomp that flinches me

 

2An Attract that affect my Pokemon since all of my Pokemon were males back then

 

3An unstoppable Rollout

I guess bad luck then, she'd always pull off a different move after attract. Also rollout isn't that good till it hits after 2 consecutive hits.

Yeah but Miltanl has a strong defense .....but as I mentioned...all thanks to my Gastly who used Hypnosis otherwise I would've lost more times than nessessary
