Since Nintendo is making Wind Waker HD, is there any other game could they remake in HD? You can discuss that below, but for now, this topic focuses on the desire of an Super Smash Brothers. HD Collection, which would consist of past titles of the SSB series.

 

 

 

The desired HD Collection which would be on the Wii U to make things interesting, would include HD Remaster versions of Super Smash Brothers. N64, Super Smash Brothers. Melee, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. These three games would be remastered in HD, and include some bonuses in them unlike the original, for example,

 

SSB N64 HD: Giant Donkey Kong, and Metal Mario playable, and have the Final Smashes fully implemented.

 

SSBM HD: Giga Bowser, Female Wireframe, and Male Wireframe playable, and the unused Akaneia being finished, and used, and Final Smashes being used

 

SSBB HD: Online Multiplayer completely revamped, and changed, and include Mewtwo, Roy, and Pichu being playable.

 

 

All of above would also act like they're brand new.

 

 

That right there is my reaction to the announcement of Wind Waker HD, and what caused me to make this topic, and I hope you find what I thought of interesting, and feel free to discuss what other past Nintendo games should be remastered in HD.

Why remake those games if the newer versions include those features and more?

It'd be like remaking Mario Party, no sense in doing so.

I think remasters could work for SSB but not remakes. Honestly though each game gains more than it loses when they go to the next game in the series so I don't think a remaster is likely but it's possible.

I also believe that remasters are possible, the features I mentioned are not really needed, just felt like expressing some ideas, someone should really ask Sakurai if there will be a SSB HD Remaster Collection or not.

Even if they done a remaster it would be kinda pointless since all characters from the first SSB are available in Melee and Brawl

Meh. I'd rather wait for the next SSB game.
