For Square Enix's 10th Anniversary arriving, a private press conference at GDC was held. Eyes on FF has leaked some images and info on it. A new project was going to be announced that was related to Kingdom Hearts called Project . 

 

It could very well be the long awaited Kingdom Hearts 3. 

What is leaked so far:

 

• Sora, Riku, Donald, and Goofy will all be returning as playable characters. Kairi was not commented on.
• Andy's Room and Agrabah were confirmed as new worlds. Aladdin's father as the King of Thieves was to make an appearance to finish Aladdin's story.
• Notable Final Fantasy characters from XII and XIII that didn't make the previous main entries of the series due to their later releases will be included.
• It was hinted that more Pixar worlds will be featured but there were no details available on which ones.
• The game has been in production for a long time now and is hoping to be released as soon as 2.5 has settled in.

I'm really hoping this is finally KH3 and it seems to be so.

In any case, im so excited for this. Square is FINALLY MAKE THE RIGHT MOVE AND ACTUALLY STARTING KH3!! Took them firetrucking long enough to realize that we're tired of waiting for THE GAME WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE KH2FM!!!!!! Maybe KH3 will actually make it onto PS3 afterall!!!!

 

XDDD, Looks like Square went behind Nomura's back and started KH3 anyway even though Versus hasn't finished yet!!! XDDD

Never believe anything around the week of April first, it's always really doubtful if anything is said for any sort of media is true until it's formally confirmed even afterwards the next week.

Someone from EyesonFF. Those kind folks were the ones who started the project and invited us to take part in it

I (badly) shopped Hashimoto and Agrabah onto this image for the prank (it originally had LRFF and Toriyama), but we all decided not to use it. I think it would have made it even more obvious that it's fake?

What went down was that the lovely folks over at EyesonFF kindly invited us to partake in a friendly April Fool's day prank! As the topic of KH3 reers its head every year on this day, it seemed natural to continue the tradition. We all got together several days ago and met with staff from EyesonFF, KH-Vids, KH Ultimania, The Final Fantasy,KH World, and Nova Crystallis to work things out, and let me tell you, it was a blast working with all of these wonderful people. 

Perhaps you may even expect to see the community get together again soon.

If we were invited to do it, I doubt KH13 would anyway   It's really not that great of a joke. Considering the timing with 2.5, χ, and KH3 to come up, another game would be too much.  It would be better to make fake news on games we know will be coming out than trying to sell a new one.

I knew this was fake the moment I saw it. You can't believe anything on this day. But I'm surprised how many people thought it was real.

 

Kind of cruel, IMO. It's like tossing a plastic steak to a pack of starving wolves. I know it's April Fools Day and all, but still... People are starved for information.
