Have you ever been looking for something, but instead of finding the desired object, you find something else you never realized you had lost?

 

That happened to me twice today. I was cleaning up my desk when I found an old DS game hidden in a Pokemon box. (Strangely enough, the game wasn't Pokemon at all.) And later, I found my old Yu-Gi-Oh deck hidden in my middle-school lunch box!

 

So now I'm wondering if anyone else here has had the same experience, and what interesting object they found that they never realized they had lost.

 

 

I remember I found an old deck (also Yu-Gi-Oh) hiding under my pillow a few years back

I do that a lot. Especially with games. If I find old games I tend to just end up playing them that day

I was cleaning my room just before moving,when I found a pink bag filled with Polly Pocket clothes and all of my Tamagotchis. Even a Hamtaro pencil case. I never knew this pencil case even excisted.

Fool. I was looking for a tire wrench in the trunk of my mother's car and I found a soap box containing $500 that everyone totally forgot about.
