All righty then, let the fun begin:

The Meeting Lands, a world ocupied by all sorts of video game characters, both the well known and the obscure. Every year, a new wave of characters are transported to this strange world with no memory of how they got there. This story chronicles the experiences of these new arivals; their triumphs, their failures, their discoveries, and for some of them, their deaths. This is their story:

Greyson, Rallen, Fixer, Xion, and the Alchemist arrived in an old abandoned inn. The floor creaked, and there was a thick layer of dust over everything. In a the middle of the entrence room were five backpacks, each with a sleeping bag as well as food and water to last them each about a day. The inn was in a thick forest, surrounded by trees. There was a path that led out from the inn, which then branched off to the left and right. How far they were from civilization was impossible to tell.

Logan, Revan, Laura Croft, Kat, and the Gardener arrived in a small cave in mountains, over looking a little villege. Also in the cave was some rope and five envalopes, each having one of these peoples names on them. The could hike down to the villege, but the terrain was very trecherous. There was also a path that led higher up the mountain, but what lay beond it was still unknown.

Pit, Jade Curtiss ,Yuffie Kisaragi, Madara Uchiha, and Zack Fair arrived in the sewers of the biggest city in the Meeting Lands, Alaria. They were all laying on a pathway of stone next to the river of sewage. Next to them were two flash lights, two radios, and two money purses. There was no nearby exit, so the only ways to go were  either left or right.

Dyme, Chell, Luke Fon Fabre, Hubert Oswell, and Steve arrived in a small shack in the middle of a swamp. Inside the shack were two mediom sized bags filled with food and water, and two pairs of night vision goggles. It was the middle of the day, but it wouldn't be for long. When night fell, these goggles would become very usefull. The shack was on top of a small island surrounded by swamp water and other islands much like it. There was no telling what dangers were inside of that water. There were bridges that connected the islands. Two such bridges were on the island they were on, one to the left, and one to the right. All of the other land masses seemed to lead to one of these two bridges, but not both.

All of these four groups have to choose one of the two paths. The question is, which of these groups will stick together, and which will split up?

See? That's why we can't advance in Revelations. The time that I did with my character was pretty much filler and non-relevant to the story in its entirety.

Greyson's head hurt. The last memory he had was of telling his faithful Charazard to use Blast Burn on Gold's Typloshion. He sat up, checking his Pokeball belt. "None? How can I go out without any Pokemon?" I can't even leave the town without one! CRAZY OLD OAK WILL FIND ME! AHHHHHHHH!" He was freaking out, when he saw someone looking at an odd screen. "Oh! Hi! Pardon, but I would like to know where the nearest Pokemon Center is. You wouldn't happen to know, would you?" He asked Fixer.

Xion woke up in a bed.

It was a very pathetic bed which creaked as she stood up.

"Roxas? Axel?" She frowned before summoning her Keyblade. The silver and gold weapon burst to life, and she headed out.

"Hello?" She called, wondering if anyone was here. "Anyone here?"

Fixer just placed his holo computer back onto his utility belt when he heard a voice off to his right. He immediately whirled around with his DC-17 shouldered and trained at the boy's head, slightly startling him. "Oh! Hi! Pardon, but I would like to know where the nearest Pokemon Center is. You wouldn't happen to know, would you?" What the hell? he thought to himself as he tried to make sense of his question. "I dunno what that is" he started, "but if it's a building, it's probably somewhere other than here." He noticed the dirt path that lead off into the forest. "Your best bet is to follow this trail. You're bound to hit some form of civilization sooner or later." Ten minutes have already elapsed, so Fixer decided that the basic survival equipment that was inside the inn was now free property. "I'd recommend getting one of those backpacks inside that building before heading off though. The trail could be several clicks to several kilos."

Pokemon? Must be the indigenous species here. He thought to himself as he decided to go back into the inn. These supplies should last... for a day? Under the helmet, Fixer was perplexed as to why someone would pack so little supplies for five individuals. He opened one of the backpacks and secured it's contents onto his own utility pack before hearing a creaking noise. Shouldering his rifle, he made his way towards the sound. He tactically whirled around the last corner before coming face to face with a girl. He hesitated for a moment before lowering his weapon. "Are you from around here?" He asked, hoping that the girl could be of some help.

"B-but crazy old man Oak won't let me out with out Pokemon...

Whenever I try to leave without them he is like "Its too dangerous."

bla da bla ba ba. And I wold rather not go back to his lab... He has a

Treeko dissected on the table..." He followed the man into the building,

his pack was in there with some items he didn't previously have.

"Sweet! A Master Ball... Wait... There is only like 5 of these in the

hole world, and i know all the Trainers with them, including myself. Where ever I am, its defiantly not in Pallet Town any more." But the man had already left, the pack he took emptied out. "Hello!? Hello? Wm.Whateveryournameis, where are you?"

Luke stalked over to the cube and lifted it from the ground, his expression one beyond irritation. "There's nothing wrong with my hair! You're the one who's got something wrong with it; you're a TALKING CUBE!" Luke continued to glare at the cube for a moment then he looked back at Chell over his shoulder. "I don't see what the big problem is, I don't see any cake around here." Luke frowned, he looked around the shack. He couldn't help but wish that he was home, where he knew everyone and there weren't any cubes that talked. But he was slightly excited to be

out of his manor, still he wished he knew how he got there. Luke's gaze fell on a door. "Hey uh... Chell, right? I'm gonna go see what's out there."

"Oh, yeah, pretty boy!? Put em up put em up! I'll beat you all the way to the other side of this place and back!" Cube yelled.

"Cube, I swear, you get to be more of a nuance than a help sometimes. Sorry about him, and yes, its Chell."

(All right, I'll switch out your characters. Just remember, Rallen won't have his ship with him. Only the weapons, spectrobes, and other things that he had on hand when he dissapeared.)

(Instead of saying what happened to Dyme before he came to the meeting lands, I'll show you.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BN3vgX6tiA

Dyme's eyes opened, revealing that he was in a small wooden shack. [Wait, I'm not dead? Im not dead! Could I be... could I be a person again?] He then noticed two other people nearby. One was a girl that looked a few years older than him, and a guy with a small cube. [Where am I, and who are these people?] He thought.

(By the way, you guys are doing a great job so far. You guys can have your characters set off as soon as they're done aquainting themselves with each other.)

(Companion Cube is fairly large, actually, It's large enough to be the same size as a crate)

Cube then noticed another guy waking up in a black coat. "God, the weird hair's are EVERYWHERE."

"What are you talking about..." Chell noticed Dyme sitting up. "Hello. By chance, do you have any cak-"

"I SAID NO MORE CAKE FOR YOU CHELL."

"AND I SAID GTFO!" She shot a portal outside and one under Cube, flinging it outside.

Revan lowered his arms and gave a shrug.

"Just the joys of learning what words you know mean in other cultures." he replied.

He gave her and her equipment a once over. She could be a spacer who got stranded some where, but her tech seemed wrong. No vibro weapons could be seen and the more he looked at her other weapons, the more he was sure that they were slug throwers rather than blasters.

His gaze lingered on the envelope Lara was looking through. He glanced at Logan and saw he had one as well. Revan walked over to the small cash of envelops and found one with his name on it.

"At least we were expected." He mumbled.

"Yes, its true. The animals were only recently named themselves, and it sounded like a word we could use instead of saying Pregnant Donkey every day." He looked at Lara. "And what kind of weapons are those? I've never seen such... Odd shapes, and how would it hurt someone? It only has a blunt end and short range..."

(wow you guys move fast)

Kat saw more people appear and she got up on her fee and dusted dirt f her legs. I would probably ask one of them where we are, but they probably don't know either, she thought. "Um..hi. I'm Kat" she said. Dusty walked up behind her with an envelope with her name written on it. She took it from the cat and looked at it. "But..expected by who?" she asked.

Logan then turned his attention to the girl introducing herself. "Disregard my question. Nice to meet you, Kat. And for what reason I could not tell you. As far as I can tell, though, we need to get out of here. He looked over at the exit to the cave. "We can either take the possibly easier upper route out of here, but we have no idea of what we will find, or, we can take the lower, more treacherous route down, which is steep and lined with many falls, but has a town near by. I would like to know all of your abilities so I can formulate a plan, unless you all have a better idea?" Logan asked.

Is cool man is cool.

Lara frowned, reading the contents of the envelope, then breaking the Fourth Wall and demanding Xigboss explain wtf she's reading.

Xion jumped a bit.

"N-no." She said to the man holding some sort of weapon at her. "I don't know what this place is..."

Inside the envalope was fifty coin (coin is the currency used in this world) and a message- "Welcome to the Meeting Lands". The exact same thing was in all of the envelopes.

Edited by Xigboss

"'The Meeting Lands'? That is no land of my world. And these coins... These are not of any metal I have ever seen before, its more or less likely not made of gold." Logan tossed the oddly shaped trinket around. "What are these?"

Xion jumped a bit."N-no." She said to the man holding some sort of weapon at her. "I don't know what this place is..."

Her voice was a mere whisper as Fixer lowered his weapon and realized that the girl was a child compared to himself. He felt his heart sinking; jusging by her voice, this girl has been through a lot of sorrow. Pointing his weapon at her wouldn't help with whatever she's been through. "I'm sorry ma'am, didn't mean to be a threat. Just..." He looked around for a bit before completing his sentence. "wondering if anyone here knows where we are." He noticed that she was still sitting on the bed. Protocols kicked in. "Are you hurt in any way ma'am?"

Revan placed his envelope in his robes carefully. He'd check it out later.

"I have the proper training and experience to go down, but I have some minor injuries from a battle I was in before being brought here." he said.

"Down gives us a better chance to meet people. They might know more about what or who brought us here."

"Hey guy with the weird screen thingy! Where did you go?" Greyson looked around in a few of the halls and areas before finding him and a girl in a odd black coat. "Oh, there you are. And hello! Who might you be? And by chance do you know where the local Pokemon Center is?" He asked Xion

"Good point. And I can fix you up, just a little..." Raen looked under his cloak. "I am glad I forgot to take this off last night..." He pulled off a Staff. His wife, Lissa was teaching him how to use them. He pointed it at Revan, its all encompassing light healed all of Revan's recent wounds. "I hope your body feels better, because your experience will be effective in going either way."

Xion jumped a bit. "N-no. What's a Pokemon Center?"

She then looked back at the soldier. "Is this Heaven? Or Hell?" She sighed. "Hell would be more appropriate..."

Lara frowned. "I can get down too..." She looked around. "Is Sam here though..."

Greyson thought "Man, these people are nuts. They don't even know what a Pokemon Center is!"

"It's a place to heal Pokemon when they are injured or to retrieve the Pokemon you don't have in your team at that time... And I don't know what this 'Hell' Thing is, but it sounds nice."

Kat flipped open the envelope and looked inside it to see some coins in it. Money...well i guess we wont be broke for now, she thought and placed the envelope in her pocket. "Ooh, are we going climbing?" Dusty stayed silent, as if he disapproved of such a suggestion.

Revan stared at Logan's staff during and after it healed him. He didn't feel anything through the Force when it healed him and it certainly was not like any technology he had ever seen. Even Rakatan tech.

"How does that work?" he asked Logan, gesturing to the staff.

"Well it depends on our skill sets. I am a brilliant planner, winning 4 wars with little man power.

To answer your question, you have to learn Magic first, just a little." Logan pulled out a Tome. "Why do I leave a tome in my back pocket? Oh, no time for thinking." He thought, opening the book to one of the non damage more tool like spells. He chanted three odd words, then a orb of fire generated around Logan's hand.

Xion jumped a bit. "N-no. What's a Pokemon Center?"She then looked back at the soldier. "Is this Heaven? Or Hell?" She sighed. "Hell would be more appropriate..."

Hell. He remembered learning that in basic. He clutched his chest piece where his heart was supposed to be as be felt a certain pain. "Emotional... Sorrow." He thought to himself as he tried to figure out why he felt that way. The only other time he had that pain in his heart was when he along with the other Deltas lost Sev. He understood the emotion. What he didn't understand was what his emotional side did next: he removed his helmet and looked Xion in the eye before embracing her with a hug. "We're not in hell" he whispered, "don't you ever say such a thing." He didn't understood why he did it, but the pain in his heart subsided. He looked at the boy. "Pokemon. Is that the indigenous species of animals here?" He asked, still trying to puzzle together the cryptic name for these 'pokemon'

"Woah, getin' toutchy-feely there. Romeo works fast. And why is hell such a bad place? I've never heard of it. Do they serve pizza there? Or help the homeless?" The man then asked about Pokemon. "Well, since everyone where I come from, which is an entire PLANET knows what Pokemon are, I don't think they are indigenous to here..." He pulled out the PokeDEX, or DEXTER for a somewhat shorter name. "DEXTER, where in the world am I?"

"No where in recorded history on the planet. The entire planet has recently been mapped, and we are in no area of any of the six regions." Greyson was dumbfounded. "But then how is that possible? I mean, there weren't any Legendary Pokemon or Unknown in the area, and the only cases of other dimensional travel include them... And all the other planet's within reach of any rocket have no forms of previous life in them... I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE WE ARE OR IF I THERE ARE ANY POKEMON!" Greyson collapsed to the floor in the fetal position, rocking back and forth

Luke crossed his arms. "Gah, that cube is so annoying! Do you always have to put up with it?" Luke asked Chell. He scowled. "I just want to go back to my manor! This doesn't make any sense at all."

Luke plopped down on the ground and let out a sigh, he turned his gaze to the man with sandy blonde hair that had just woken up. "So who are you? Got any idea where we are?" Luke's eyes lit up and he jumped back to his feet. "I know! I'm dreaming! Nothing like this has ever happened! Yeah, that's it, I'm not awake!"

"Yes, I do have to deal with that prick. But he is still one of my best friends, sadly to say. And if you were asleep, this wouldn't hurt... " She walked up and slapped him, to ensure he was awake.

Xion looked at the boy.

"Hell is a place of pain and misery. You are daft."

She sighed. "I only remember dying is all..."

Lara looked at the climb. No worse then the ziggurat ascent.

Knocking a Rope Arrow, she took aim and fired, then stabbed an arrow into the floor to creat a zipline.

"There. That should make our lives easier."

Fixer slowly released his arms around Xion before placing his helmet back on. Why did I just do that? He thought to himself. On the other hand, the pain is gone. He turned around to face the boy, only to see him on the ground crying. The pokedex was still in his hands, and Fixer swiped it from him. "This thing might give me some useful information." He said aloud before rapidly twiddling his fingers on the pocket machine. Within seconds, all the records of the pokemon and information about the owner were displayed on his helmet's HUD. "Hmmm..." he looked at Greyson before messing with the pokedex again. "So that's what a pokemon looks like. Haven't seen any when I was outside clearing the area." He downloaded the area that was mapped in the pokedex. "Ooh, this might come in handy." He handed the pokedex back to Greyson. "Pull yourself together Greyson. If getting one of these 'pokemon' is the most important to you, go on out there and find one." He looked back towards Xion and remembered the breach in discipline. After making sure she was alright, he headed out toward the main lobby of the dusty inn. He accessed the bio-metrics sub-systems built into his armor. "Initiate physiological diagnosis, psychological diagnosis and give me records of the past minute." He was looking for any anomaly that caused him to hug Xion, but to no avail. Everything returned normal. So why did I do that... he asked himself before reaching the backpacks. He found an envelope resting on top of one.

Inside was fifty coins and a message. "Welcome to the Meeting Lands." Immediately he dove off to the right and aimed his rifle through his legs, expecting an ambush. Nothing happened. he looked around carefully before standing up again and slowly approached the envelope.

"HEY! That HURT!" Luke howled, glaring Chell. Then he understood. He wasn't asleep, he was really in this strange small shack, even though it made absolutely no sense to him at all. He scowled. "Yeah, I guess you're right... darn it!"

"Wait... YOU MEAN I'M DEAD!? Gawlaaaaaah!" He sat on the floor crying again. "Why! WHY WHY WHY! I'm only like sixteen.. I NEVER LEARNED HOW TO DRIVE! GRAAAAAAAAAWGGEHHHHH" Greyson was an absolute wreck. He lost his best friends, he was dead and in some place he knew nothing about...

"You must be a survivalist. You look well equipped for the task, at least." Logan clapped. "We so far have a Knight, a Bishop, a Queen, and now, for the powers you hold... Miss... Kat."

Yuffie muttered in her slumber, "Tootsie roll pop..." before awakening suddenly. She looked around her surroundings, confused greatly. She pushed herself off the grimy sewer floor. The ninja looked to Zack, perplexed. "Zack? But... you're dead." She spoke, trying to figure things out. Then again, she was in a sewer when she had just been in the forests near Wutai. With a winged man, a dead man, and an interesting man.

Hubert stirred in his sleep. His eyes flashed open. All was blurry for a second, before he reached for his glasses and put them on. Then all was clear... sort of. Getting up, Hubert held his dualblade loosely in his hand. Near him was a man with a sword and firey red hair, a woman with an intriguing gun and a talking cube (some sort of cryas device he thought), and a blond haired man with a guitar. Hubert rubbed his temples. "Never get a break do I?" He said, sighing. He had been hoping to lead a more relaxing life, sparring with Asbel, raising Sophie, and spending time with Pascal. Instead, he was in a strange shack, with stranger people.

"HEY! That HURT!" Luke howled, glaring Chell. Then he understood. He wasn't asleep, he was really in this strange small shack, even though it made absolutely no sense to him at all. He scowled. "Yeah, I guess you're right... darn it!"

"Sorry. And I don't like this situation anywhere near as much as you. I escape two psychopathic computers bent on making me do test after test, then try and kill me, I finally get out of rehab for the trauma, and now I'm stuck here again." Chell was stern, but then you herd the Cube talking from the outside. "Hey! Bring me back, or else I'm gonna rust!"

"Your outer shell is made of metal ninety-nine percent rust resistant! You will be fine to cool off out there for a little."

"Not likely, its like a sauna up in here! Its so hot, I might just take my clothes off!"

"Cube... You don't even wear underwear or need it."

"You don't know what I do in secret!"

"You mean... Oh my god! Cube, were you stealing my underwear and using it yourself!?"

"Ha ha! For being like 35, you wear some very teeny-bopper like undergarments Chell!"

"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!"
