Noby Raghavan 168 Posted April 15, 2013 We all love and adore KH, but I think we all agree that some things need to be fixed, so just list the things you'd like to see fixed. =D 1.) Platforming... 2.) The story's accessibility and understandability on first play-through.3.) Somehow, reduce the amount of button mashing. I'd love to see KH3 create a gameplay environment in which the innovative gameplay style of KH was combined with intuitive thinking and thought processes. 4.)More Kairi, =35.) Oh yes. Put this somewhere in KH3, preferably around the final fight with Xehanort.
Weiss 8,279 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) Imo nothing needs to be "fixed". KH isn't a perfect game, nor is a bad game series. It's fine as is imo. Edited April 15, 2013 by Weiss
Orchestrafanboy19 101 Posted April 15, 2013 I never have found the series' storyline to be difficult to understand. I feel that they simply leave you in the dark and give subtle hints so as not to be too easy to understand. Questions are usually answered in later games. 1 Shard the Gentleman reacted to this

However, I think everybody can say that subtle yet important plot points are often hard to grasp on first playthroughs. A case in point would be the Ventus-Roxas-Sora-Vanitas connection. Caity 3,946 Posted April 15, 2013 1.) Platforming... I've had no problem with this, I've played other games that contained FAR more platforming 2.) The story's accessibility and understandability on first play-through. As long you've played all the games it's easy to understand, and playing them in their chronological order helps, which can be achievable with the remix' for new fans. 3.) Somehow, reduce the amount of button mashing. I'd love to see KH3 create a gameplay environment in which the innovative gameplay style of KH was combined with intuitive thinking and thought processes. The battle system is improving as time goes on. They made it more difficult in COM and people didn't like it. But I believe as technology advances and more games come out it will just get greater and great. 4.)More Kairi, =3 This is going to be addressed in KH3. A number of the games simply didn't involve her, BBS was a prequel where she was a minor character, Days was a side story, COM was a journey looking for Riku, Coded was a a remake of a mobile game, and 3D was about Sora and Riku's MoM exam, not Kairi's. 5.) Oh yes. Put this somewhere in KH3, preferably around the final fight with Xehanort. I like the music that's created for KH at it is, it will only get greater and greater. 1 Marth reacted to this
waffle 82 Posted April 15, 2013 mainly the problem with kh that I find is the button layout, the first game get it the best with the right thumb stick operating the menu.. but its still not as good as it could be
Koko 3,944 Posted April 15, 2013 firetruck YEAH MORE KAIRI MORE KAIRI MORE BAD ASS LADIES IN GENERAL It needs better writing in regards to its female characters because I mean I look at Xion and Kairi and their unused potential as badass babes and I sigh heavily. I mean Xion was a little more badass than Kairi but that's overrun by the fact that she's seen as a plot device to many. And Kairi just needs to have her shining moment where she saves the boys and she's like haha firetruckers.

J. Severe 1,137 Posted April 16, 2013 Needs more Disney/Final Fantasy character interaction, imo. Nomura has the power to make the things fanfictions are made of real and yet he's completely throwing away the possibilities!
Dave 5,715 Posted April 16, 2013 I agree with practically everything the OP has said. Mostly, I want to see a return to what made the original games so good in the first place, rather than what the series has become.
Ruran 481 Posted April 16, 2013 This goes for the characters in general but I don't think it's so much a matter of quantity as it is quality. You can get really good character development in just a few minutes but spend many hours with characters but not care about them (I'm looking at you BbS). Spending more time with characters means little unless it's executed well. 1 Dave reacted to this
Rob 5,571 Posted April 16, 2013 KH2. Organization show themselves to Sora and Leon just stays in the background.
