The First Master And The Blacksmith.

Posted

Hey everyone, how's it going?  You know, I have to give special thanks to Firaga96 for inspiring me to make this topic, because after hearing out his theory about someone who created the Keyblades, I thought of making this topic.  Here we will emphasize on this said blacksmith, and ponder about who could Masters Xehanort's and Eraqus's Master might have been?  In my personal opinion, I think their master is/was someone with a vast knowledge about what lays hidden on all worlds.  I imagine that his individual must have had incredible and mighty power, and I imagine that this individual must have put Xehanort and Eraqus in serious, years spanning training, so that they could hone their skills and master their swordsmanship.  Who could this Master be or might have been is something we might never know.  And now we go to the Blacksmith, the forger of the Keyblade.  My guess would be that he traveled alongside The Master to forge any and all Keyblades that this individual asked him to forge.  In time, he forged an army's worth of Keyblades, and imbued them with mighty magic.  Since he poured his whole heart and soul into making each Keyblade, in that regard, he gave life to Keyblades, making, as Firaga96 said, sentient, living entities.  It's so mysterious and intriguing, that one can't help but wonder about it. :)  So what do you think everyone? ^_^

I have always preferred the idea that the keyblade is nothing created by man,

If the heart is supposed to be unfathomably complicated, and Kingdom Hearts is the heart of all worlds, then the device used to open this place must also be of equal complication. Indeed, given that the keyblade is given to a person based on a strength of their heart, it is beyond rational minds to construct them: it must be developed based on emotion, passion, and of other unseen forces inside a human being.

I believe (or would like to believe) that the keyblade is of a design that Kingdom Hearts itself has chosen.

That is a good point, but also remember that in KH3D, in the glossary section, it specifically says that Keyblades are man forged weapons that try to imitate the X-Blade, which, if we sum it up, is The True Keyblade.  But your right about the Keyblade appearing to oneself by strength of heart, that is certainly a fair point.

In DDD's reports it was confirmed that Keyblades are man-made attempts to replicate the X-blade.

So your theory could be right.

Well i always assumed they were made by Kingdom Hearts but i havnt played DDD so now i know they are man-made.

Explaining how Keyblades were made would kinda ruin the mystery aspect behind them; if you learned that, for example, Keyblades were made out of someone's heart or something, you might go, "Well, that's cool" and then not care a few weeks later. Would you rather have that, or forever speculate about something that is suppose to have unanswered questions?

So you believe The Master is over 100 years old?

I like to think keyblades were man-made, but after a certain point, its special properties are up to the nature of its construction and the heart of its wielder.  It could be sorta like your baby--it's certainly your creation, in a sense, but its nature means it's got a mind of its own.  You know how it was made, but that doesn't mean, say, you fully understand the human brain or humans in general.  So, we can understand where keyblades come from and know most of its properties, but there are still probably things about it and the heart beyond our grasp.  There.  A happy middle.  Though, I wish a tidbit like where keyblades come from would be introduced in the story proper, and not mentioned offhand in a report...
