Darth Maul weilding was a concept?

Apparently this was a concept plan for Kingdom Hearts II. It's Darth Maul's keyblade clearly.

There's an actual name for that.

Darth Maul's Lightsaber was actually inspired by an earlier Jedi named Exar Kun. Exar Kun was a powerful Jedi that delved too deeply in the knowledge of the sith arts and turned to the dark side (sound familiar?). Exar was the first person to ever carry a double-bladed lightsaber. Maul may have seen a little of himself in the arogant, powerful Exar Kun, and possibly took up the double-bladed lightsaber in tribute. Sound familiar? =-O Sounds just like what xehanort did with the darkness of hearts until the tribute and other things.

What is it?

There is no name for the style it is a nameless style so if I wanna call it "Moon Moon" then I can call it "Moon Moon" while you can call it "Double keyblades of death"

What is it?

I apologize, I forgot.

Well of course! Disney does own the Star Wars franchise, so it's obvious that they would incorporate it in Kingdom Hearts 2. Sad to see it didn't make it to the game, though.

Disney only gained Lucasfilm last year.. Kingdom Hearts 2 was made well before Star Wars had Anything to do with DisneyOh but that would have been excellent! They could have used that wielding style in a form or something, geez.. Bloody Square throwing away amazing concepts all the time.. *Slaps Square on the butt* :3

Disney just bought lucasarts a while ago

ps i know you're joking

Double edge Keyblade. It was a good idea. I want it. I wield it myself as it is but it'd be cool to see Sora try.

Sora takes Kingdom Key D it seems.

Yes, this.  However, I've thought Kingdom Hearts bore many similarities to the Star Wars saga, so I wouldn't be surprised if this double-bladed Keyblade was inspired by Darth Maul's.

Well yeah.. you have a point there,. considering how popular Star Wars is, I guess it could have been an influence~ But it would have been bad ass.

Too be fair, it wouldn't be the only thing in the game with a Star Wars influence

Disney only went public that it bought Lucas a while. In reality, it was theirs a long time now

They just delayed the project to KH3 to troll us
