...the best things that we can think of as to how Harry Potter & Devil May Cry are connected. Okay, I'll go first. In Harry Potter & the half-blood prince, Harry Potter & Draco Malfoy resemble Dante & Vergil in their DmC forms. Also, in both series, there are Characters named Mundus, & creatures named Basilisk. Also, Dante & Harry Potter grew up without parents, not knowing them since they died when they were very Young.

Just want to point out two things:

 

  • You mean the similarities, not the connections between them. 
  • Basilisk are in many fantasy stories (and it derived from greek mythology). It's probably common to see it in Harry Potter and DmC.
