Go to "sign in" and "creat an account" and you're good to go.

I suggest a screencam for emulators

and a dazzle for everything else.

Also, advertisments and don't do what everyone else is doing (Example: If KH1.5 comes out do something else to be original)

When you say original, do you mean like how i commentate or play ?

No, like do what's not popular so that your channel is original. Like when a new call of Duty game comes out a lot of people do that so definitely do a different game. Almost everyone is original in how they commentate and play naturally. It's just, from what I've seen, if you're doing the same game as everyone else because it just came out people tend to just stick with the older youtubers so being original by doing something else is better imho.

Remember to actually comentate :) I've watched playthrough's where they're all "I'm gonna be quiet for this part" but the random conversations are my favourite parts :

Always record and render in the best quality you can for your videos, people these days don't really like to stick around if you have non-HD videos unless they're old popular videos when HD wasn't too big. But you know make sure things are edited properly, do what you think is best and you are in business. Also the number one rules to doing YouTube videos is have fun! and don't let those comment trolls put you down ;P

I would say something, but Weiss has literally said what I was going to say. Listen to this all-knowing hedgehog, if you know what's good for you. Also, for the love of god, if you're going to commentate, don't try to "emulate" how other people do their commentary. In other words, don't be another pewdiepie clone; it's already bad enough that there's one of him. Personally I hate watching LP's in general, but if you're going to do it, just be yourself.

Try to get a very reliable/well-known Capture card and a mic. I hear snowball (I think snowball 8?) is very good.

I wish I could make a LP for my games (especially the KH 1.5 HD ReMIX) but I don't really have the time to do it.

Actually, the key is to be right on top of things. People will generally look for videos on whats new and recent a lot more than something that was old. It's good to do something different, but when it comes to recently released games you have to make a vid on the game no later than a week after it was released. Expect a lot of views if you manage to get gameplay/commentary out on a popular release the day it comes out.

Of course, there are some games where that rule doesn't apply. Unless you have an established and growing viewerbase, you're not going to have any luck posting gameplay/commentary of the most recent Call of Duty game, even the day it came out.

Use the recording devices Cyberman65 has used.

Edit with Sony Vegas or After Effects.

Render in 720p or 1080p.

What does he use to record ? o.O

Do not comentate on KH vids.

My advice? Watch RoosterTeeth videos. They're great at what they do and it's because they're entertaining.

I wanted to have a YouTube channel for all different kinds of things - like you, video game commentary being one of them. But I just haven't followed up on it yet. If/when you do post videos though, be sure to post'em! I'd love to see, since I haven't watched any KH videos aside from cutscene movies.
