Did KH13 or any other kh fansite affect your view on the series?

Posted

Honestly, did it affect your view on the franchise at all when you joined kh13, or another kh fansite? Did it make you enjoy the series more or less?

For me, joining KHV and KH13 and KHI made me enjoy the series a lot more. Since there are no kh fans that I know where I live being able to be around other fans and discuss the series, both in-depth and as simple Q and A's got my mind thinking about the series more often.

I love the series more since I joined bc I can endlessly discuss my favorite video game series with countless fellow fans .I love that .

Also I accidently met my man here when I wasn't looking :P

Less but that might not be this sites fault just the way kh tells a story. Also some fans just make me sour on the series.

Less.  The people in this site did a good job of pointing out its flaws, which undid all the magic.  The BBS characters went from being my favorite characters to my least favorite (I have to rely on my headcanons and AU fanfics to hold onto my liking of them).  Proof that knowledge and being critical and analytical doesn't always make you better off.

It hasn't particularly affected how I view the series. People are entitled to their own opinions about things, and I try not to allow those opinions to affect my feelings on characters or events.

When I was on ̶t̶̶h̶̶e̶̶ ̶̶w̶̶o̶̶r̶̶s̶̶t̶̶ ̶̶f̶̶u̶̶c̶̶k̶̶i̶̶n̶̶g̶̶ ̶̶f̶̶o̶̶r̶̶u̶̶m̶̶ ̶̶e̶̶v̶̶e̶̶r̶ a different KH forum, it made me kind of back off from the series a bit. The people there were...interesting.

Other than that though, not really. But the general plot of KH has gotten a little more interesting since I joined this website. Kind of how on ZeldaDungeon in the "theories" section made me appreciate the games so much more.

Less i would say. Honestly I would say the main reason is cos before I joined I didnt know anyone who even knew what KH was, so it was something special to me, that only I knew about.

All the theories helped me understand everything a lot more. So I'd say KH13 made me like it more.

Well, I don't know. I used to be embarrassed about liking KH, but when I saw how many other people liked it as well, I felt more open, and started enjoying it more.

Eh a little bit. Since I played the games slightly out of order, I found the storyline/plot Q & As extremely helpful, which allowed me to understand the game better as well as become more engrossed in it xD Sometimes I would see opinions that were different than mine or super analysis of the game that made me upset, but I know that everyone has their own opinion. I just don't bother reading it ^^

Still the same before I joined. The only thing that can change my view is the game itself.

For me it wasn't really about joining, since this it the  first KH site I've ever joined and I just joined here a little while ago, but if I can talk about just reading other people's thoughts and watching amvs in the net, then yes that has affected the way I see the games. And luckily, I enjoy them more. :)

Made me very attracted to the series with the fans on this forum being all such nice and interesting people as a whole...

:)

Possitive affecting. Defenetly.

I hope I can play more of the games as the future progresses.

:)
