I forgot how to mark spoilers.

Last we saw Terranort has his mind. We don't know for sure where the mind and body are currently in the series.

one thing that i know for sure is that his memories are in Terra's armor. his heart with Xehanort? his mind and body... well his mind must be with himself i think. but his heart should be confined inside of Xehanorts original form.

I think Terra's Mind might be the Lingering Will in KH2FM, but that's just a guess on my end as I'm not really certain.  Up to the events of 3D, I'm not sure where Terra's body is.  Apprentice Xehanort was Terra's body of course, when he split into Heartless and Nobody, I believe we can assume that Xemnas was the body of Terra.  I don't know where Terra's body is at the moment.

Last time we saw Terra's mind was in keyblade graveyard.

Terra's lingering spirit is in the Keyblade Graveyard. His body and heart are somewhere. Who knows where it is?

I'm pretty sure that Terra's soul remained in The Keyblade Graveyard, and I'm guessing that he won't get his body back from Terranort until Sora and the gang defeat him, thus, ensuring Terra his return to his body, and in doing so, they go rescue Aqua, who then leads them all to Castle Oblivion to save Ventus, because she's practically immune to the castle's spell, because she alone is the one that can solve the mystery of Castle Oblivion.  So yeah, that's how all three of them will be freed I imagine.  Unless Nomura decides to deliver an unexpected surprise.
