One of the things that I absolutely love about Reshiram and Zekrom in Black & White is that they're a huge part of the main story(In Black and White 1 specificly) instead of being just an optional catch that you can do after beating the game....I liked catching ReshiramZekrom before the final battle with N and I would be happy if Xerneas and Yveltal would affect the story of X&Y in a way similar to Reshiram and Zekrom or better.

I'd like that personally. It would add more depth to the story.

yeah i would like it it made the story a LOT BETTER

I hope it is, it really makes the story much richer and BW1 ending was amazing. 

But also the fact that BW1 capture-the-legendary-before-final-boss situation was really part of the story. I don't want a rehash of BW1 but I want something the surpass it. They are probably going to take another road unlike Gen I - Gen IV and Gen V.

I'd really like to have the Story focussing on the Legendaries... I always wondered why the most Powerful and rarest Pokemon are just a little ... kinda Side-Event in the Story. Would be cool to have from the beginning the goal "Catch the Legendary Pokemon" instead of "Become Pokemon Master (and eventually catch a very rare Legendary Pokemon)"

I can see them doing that. Hopefully the story is longer.

Most legendary mascots played a roll in their respective games, but I see what you mean by like BW. The way they made Zekrom/Reshiram involved with the plot was good. They had more meaning than just "look at me cause havoc!"
