Summary:
Welcome to the Mekakushi Dan! Just a group of people that are not so normal. It's the beginning of a hot summer, and this is what happened to a certain group of people. It won't be easy. There is a challenge under this group. I'll just leave that to you to find out.

 

Rules:

--The major rule is this; please enjoy yourself. Stick around as much

as you can--the more that everyone posts the more the story can advance,
so have a good time and don't be afraid to have your character make
some strange or interesting decisions, it will only make the RP more
interesting. Interact with other people. 

--Your character's power cannot cause an unfair advantage over other

players. Time-stopping is an exmaple of a power that could out-match
just about any other one. Create your power, but make it limited, that
will make it all the more interesting when powers are used against each
other and fights are even.

--Go with the flow. People will make their own choices and the story

will encounter a few twists and turns. It's more interesting when
characters have to deal with thus twists naturally.

Takane could tell this was going to be a sucky summer already just by waking up. Summer Vacation only started two days ago. Random annoying chimes woke her up. Takane looked at her phone bluntly, unlocking it and scrolling through the text.

"Takane!!! WAKE UPP!!"

She had received several of these messages. 

"TAKAAANNNEEE!!!" Ene yelled through the speakers of the phone.

Takane carelessly fell back in bed.

"Leave me alone...." she muttered.

"Never." Ene's voice snapped.

"Five minuets?" Takane asked.

"The timer is set~" Ene smirked.

Gideon finished his breakfast.

"Thanks, Grandma!" he called out. "I'm going out."

"Okay, be careful!" Grandma called back.

Gideon went out into the morning and took in a deep breath, feeling his lungs with sweet air.

Summer vacation. Shiruba, (He often goes as Shiroku) sat, as always, on his computer. It was a powerful one-- Shiruba had to spend several months working up the money, just so he could continue his dull lifestyle of never-ending electronics and web surfing. He liked it, not that his uncle, did, though.

"Shiroku...you should get out more." His uncle said to him, standing right outside his nephew's door.

"I see no reason to, Oji-san." Shiruba replied, not paying an ounce of attention to his uncle. The older man sighed, and retreated. It was near impossible to tear the boy from his computer..yet.

I woke up...my headphones telling me it was still summer vacation... I sat up and imagined how my room would look... I listened noticing where the drawer, closet and where the edge of my bed was. I slowly got off feeling the walls to the bathroom, and I listened finding the tooth paste and tooth brush. I did what was normal; took a shower, brush my hair, brush my teeth. Then I had to renew my bandages on my eyes, I had a 'medical closet' I guess you could say and re-bandaged my eyes it was still a horrible sight to see them...from what I've heard. Anyways I changed to my usual wear...I think it was my black and white striped long sleeve, my short sleeved dark gray hoodie, and my black shorts... It was what I could tell from the textures... I went downstairs to eat breakfast being careful not to burn myself... I then grabbed my two katanas in purple cases and put on my white shoes. Then I headed out the door...towards the woods...

Sounds of fists rang around the room as Miya punched the 5th poor punching bag with amazing strength. Sweat came down on her neck but her strength hardly wavered. After a couple minutes she did a final punch as the punching bag fell out of the chain, flying into the wall.

"Dang Miya, that's like the 5th punching bag you broke." Miya's friend, Tracey grinned. Miya wiped the sweat off her forehead with a towel. "Sorry, I bet I'm wasting your dad's money for more punching bags." Tracey's father owned the boxing class where Miya is taking. Tracey shook her head. "My dad's cool with it. Anyway, how about we go get some ice cream? A treat for the beginning of summer." Tracey got up as she grabbed her purse.

Miya sighed as she put on her favorite scarf. "Ice cream sounds so good right now."

"BEEP BEEP BEEP! TIME IS UP!" Ene yelled through the phone speaker.

Takahe sat up, yawning.

"Okay...Im up. What time is it?" She asked.

"10:43 am" Ene said seriously, using her powers to turn into her human form.

"What are you doing...?" Takane asked, rubbing her eye.

"Being human." She said bluntly.

Takane hopped out of the bed, heading to her closet to get dressed, slamming the door shut.

Ene started snooping around as Takane got dressed.

She wore a faded red tank-top, some black rather tight shorts with a yellow skirt over it, and her oversized black jacket that was halfway zipped up, the sleeves having yellow lines across them. She slipped on her shoes and tied her hair back in pigtails, opening the door.

"You're back!" Ene called.

Takane gave a small nod.

I reached out my hand feeling bark and leaves. Knowing I was now in the woods, I muted the headphones for a little bit listening to nature. Birds chirping, grass crumbling, twigs snapping. It all sounded beautiful now if only I could see...but maybe it was better to see... Better to hide that to know, either way I avdentured through the trees making sure I wasn't running into any by using my headphones. I kept walking until I heard a little 'splash' noise in front of me, I reached the lake I sat down felting the cool dirt in my hands. Then I felt grass ending up to find a rock, I picked it up and used all my might to throw it. I heard the wind move quickly past it as it made the water move making waves...

Kimone drifted around through the waves of data. He sighed. "Still nothing. Nothing ever happens. Maybe I could try and instigate something... I don't want to end up with anyone's viruses though." He pondered this. He heard some commotion. A surge of data changing form. "What?" Something may actually start happening. He went toward the device where the surge had occurred.

Gideon walked around his neighborhood, watching kids run around, enjoying the sun. He found himself feeling a little...odd. He had made some friends and he was looking forward to seeing them, but...

The but was annoying Gideon by it evading him. Oh well. Time to see what people were doing.

Swing. Jab. Quick kick. The sounds of a dummy getting hit with blunt trauma rang through Vic's personal dojo area. She backed up, ran forward and cartwhell kicked the dummy's head off. She landed back on her feet, a smile on her face. Vic had been able to pull off the trick she had been working on all week. She looked up to the clock. 10:45 AM. It was about time for her morning training session to be over. She grabbed her workout bag and exited the dojo into her family's mansion. Vic swung by her room, and plopped the bag down on the bed, and quickly stripped her workout clothing off. She went into her closet and grabbed out a tight t-shirt and some ripped jeans. No need for any special wear today. Vic threw on the clothes, and transferred her fighting sticks into their special sheath, then strapped that to her right thigh. She never left them behind. Even when she wore a dress to one of her parent's stupid galas, they were always strapped to her leg. After she was dressed and ready, Vic climbed out her window, and scooted down the tree right outside. When she landed, Vic started down the street, going nowhere in particular.

Miya and Tracey arrived at the ice cream stand all sweaty because of the heat. "I would like two scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sprinkles." Tracey ordered. "And I would like 4 scoops of chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup and sprinkles." Miya said. The ice cream man looked bewildered, "Are you sure you can eat all those?"

Miya nodded, "I'm sure, don't worry about it." After paying for their order and receiving their ice cream, they walked along the streets licking or chomping away their ice cream.

Takane was literally dragged outside with Ene, she blabbering on about some game she wants to hack, Takane secretly listening to her headphones. The unknown song as usual. She never knew what was playing anymore. Ene wasn't watching were she was going of course, running straight into Vic.

Imminently, Takane gave a small laugh, Ene freaking out.

"Sorry Sorry Sorry!" She repeated.

I stood up walking on the edge of the lake sometimes picking up rocks to throw them into the water. And then I stepped on something that made a different sound... I bent down and tapped it with my knuckles and it was wood, a dock! I carefully walked until I reached the end of the dock and I carried a bunch of stones, pebbles, anything of a rock. I sat on the dock throwing the rocks in hearing the different sounds of splashing.

As Gideon rounded a corner, he heard a collision of some sort and apologizing. He jogged towards the sound and found Vic, Ene and Takane. Form how Ene was acting, she and Vic must have been the origin of the noise.

"Everybody okay?" he asked.

"Oh gosh. I sound like my mom." Gideon thought glumly.
