Okay, before I really start, I have to get something straight.

I am just starting Final Fantasy, so don't make fun of me if I get something completely wrong. I've played Kingdom Hearts since I was like, six, and I've thought KH was awesome since then. I've also known FF was created by the same people as KH, so a few months ago I started to think about trying it out.

 

So, about a month ago I got FF I for PSP. So, now I'm starting to dabble in Final Fantasy myself.

Now, the point: Look at Lightning and Marluxia. Do you think Marluxia was modeled after Lightning? (Or Lightning after Marluxia, not sure which one came first) I mean, the pink hair, and the scythe. They look really alike except for the Organization XIII coats!

 

So what do you think?

Are you saying the Nomura uses the same model for each character? Preposterous!

 

That would mean he has no artistic talent, and we all know that he has heaps (yes, heaps).

I think they are completely different, but it's your point of view not mine. And I'm sure that Marluxia was created before Lightning.

on topic: I do not think Marluxia and Lightning have any relation whatsoever. Maybe Nomura just likes pink now. 8D

Cricket is pretty much right about Lighting being based off Cloud. The only thing that is similar between Lighting and Marluxia is that they both have Pink hair.
