It was stated multiple times in 3D that, when the world was remade following the Keyblade War, the x-Blade shattered into 7 pure Lights and 13 pure Darknesses. These Lights are the Princesses of Heart, the only people in the world to be naturally born with no Darkness in their hearts. But we've never heard of anyone in the Kingdom Hearts universe who was naturally born with a heart completely void of Light. The key word here is "naturally"  as Vanitas, the only known entity to have a heart of pure Darkness, was artificially created by Xehanort by removing the Darkness from Ven's heart. Presumably, even Xehanort was born with both Light and Darkness in his heart. Since the Neo Organization XIII are all different incarnations of Xehanort, they are not pure Darknesses. Even if Xehanort removed the light from his heart, like he removed Ven's Darkness, the new Organization are not the pure Darknesses needed to re-forge the x-Blade. And even if, as unlikely as it is, Xehanort was born with no Light in his heart, that's still only 1 true pure Darkness, no matter how many people he possesses.

 

So now I'm wondering, do these XIII Darknesses not exist in human form? And, if they do, will we encounter them in KHIII? Xehanort was going to fail either way but, now it seems that it will be less because of the strength of our heroes and more because Xehanort screwed up again.

Well considering MX thinks he can use the 7 guardians of light in place of the 7 PoH this same logic applies to using his manufactured 13 darknesses since they aren't pure hearts of light either. But since MX always fails bc of his failed 'theories' on how this recipe should be successful and other lack of foresight/thoughts I expect him to also lead himself to his own downfall as well. It's like Braig/Xigbar said : It's like Kingdom Hearts rejects Xehanort. Secondly, I also wondered if there are 13 pure hearts of darkness too..We just don't know but since they are never mentioned ever since its a mystery.

I honestly don't see the 7 princesses of heart coming back into play. I think they were MX's FIRST attempt at finding 7 lights but now he's moved on to seven GUARDIANS of light. That's why he said that they were 3 guardians short. 

Yen Sid said Xehanort will go after the Princesses anyway, but except for Kairi none of them can fight and there has to be clash for the x-Blade to come forth, so the Princesses will still be present when the power builds up.

But it's about basically forcing the fight regardless bc either he can use the 7 PoH or the guardians that will assemble to protect them.That's why there are exactly 7 supposed guardians and not numerous more...He can use either method

True... so now I'm wondering if the XIII true Darknesses have to be present as well. Maybe they're not good fighters either and that's way Xehanort created the 13 Seekers of Darkness.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed how many Disney Villains have bird sidekicks? Maleficent has Diablo the raven Jafar had Iago the parrot and Shan-yu has Hayabusa the falcon

Could the creation of the x-blade be avoided simply by Sora and co not going to the keyblade graveyard when MX is there?

He never mentioned it but it's certainly a good question about their existence and whereabouts. If MX thinks he doesn't need them pure it might just lead to his downfall once again and we shouldn't be surprised since it's his tendency to screw his own plans up .That's why he's the king of back up plans.

No He can use either the 7 PoH or the 7 GoL .That's why MX thinks its unstoppable bc if they go after the PoH and if the GoL try to stop them they will be used instead making it inevitable.

Sounds like a good plot for the next Saga. If they exist, I bet they reside in the Realm of Darkness.
